Well surely Kapil is a better all rounder and a world cup winning captain. But as a bowler, I guess Srinath is better than Dev. Whats your opinion, who is the best fast bowler India ever produced?

Pertinent to mention that India not playing too many away tours between 93-96 also hurt Srinath. Probably he was at his fastest during that stage before a shoulder injury after SA tour of 96 forced him to cut down on his pace. If Srinath could have adjusted his length slightly and pitched the ball up further he would have taken more wickets before injury curtailed his career. He was a genuinely unlucky bowler as used to often narrowly miss the batsman’s edge during his bowling spells, unlike the imposter that is Ishant Sharma.
