The thing with Dhoni is he isnt a rubbish T20 player but underachieved awfully in Int T20s since 2007 WC.His performances in IPL are as good as anyone and he is probably one of the best if not the best ODI player in the world.So form is not an issue either. So i think its pretty hard dropping Dhoni knowing the player he can be.IMO the best solution should be to promote him to no.4 with Kohli opening the batting and Raina at 3 & Yuvi @ 5.Will give him enough time to set himself to play those explosive knocks he can play.

That was Sooda's idea actually. And even there most importance is given to T20I. Get your facts right, T20I were supposed to carry 70% weight while these leagues to carry 30%.

Chris Gayle also does that but the difference is here one opens and one comes late. I guess it's a squad issue as if he comes early, the other players do not get to play much. Any other keeper or suppose his replacement would have the same role (batting late) and thus they would struggle a lot.
