sivanand82 Posted April 8, 2013 Author Posted April 8, 2013 If PK can regain the form he showed in the two consecutive overseas tours in 2011 he is well ahead of the lot, he was India's best bowler in that short period of 6 tests. Hasn't played a test since but I don't see why he can't be in the XI in SA if he can regain form. B Kumar has had an ordinary start to his test career. I dont agree BK has made an ordinary start rather it is a solid start in spinner friendly surfaces.Remember his spells in Hyd and mohali; they were game changing ones.
Vilander Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Ishant sharma went on to play 50 test and counting for India after clocking 145k in aus in 2007/8 vinay should be rewarded with 60 test for clocking 147k. Ishant is quicker than Gul.

maniac Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 BK,VK,PK in ODI's PK,BK(so far),VK for tests VK,BK,PK for T20's
carnish Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Forget tests ... None of the three are good in tests. ODIs ... I will say VK is definitely better than the other 2. Better control over his bowling ... decent pace over 130 and can bowl good yorkers. Next in line is Bhuvneswar as he has some pace and can be lethal with his swing on pitches with a little grass. PK, don't how good he is anymore, but in the tests he did play looked outstanding. Should be back in the team by the time we visit New Zealand and England next year, as those are the two countries where pitches will help seam bowling.\ For Me we should have these choices in bowlers for different formats: Tests: Ishant Umesh BK Ahmed Kaul Pankaj PK ODIs: VK Kaul Ahmed BK Munaf Irfan T20s: Irfan BK VK Ishant Bumrah/Shukla Sandeep Sharma
Vanarp22 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 VK is not a good choice in T20s. He bowls bad full tosses and is not reliable even in the IPL which is only about 90% of international quality
sivanand82 Posted April 10, 2013 Author Posted April 10, 2013 Donald is impressed with BK "Former South African fast bowler Allan Donald said he was impressed by Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Donald, who was recently appointed as coach of the Pune Warriors team, said that while extra pace was a skill that could win matches for the side, the control shown by Bhuvneshwar was equally crucial.".
sivanand82 Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 BK was in Great Form against SRH.The balls he bowled to Parthiv and White would have been too good for most batsmen in the world.
CSK Fan Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Forget tests ... None of the three are good in tests. Yes right a bowler who averages 25 in tests is not good enough and Ishant is ahead of him, lol right. Keep on playing Ishant till his average is 60 please because he is phaast

BK has improved immensely from the last one year. A year back he was mediocre but now, he is intl class. He cannot be a tear away bowler but a long term bowler. And is not injury prone as his action is smooth like water and doesn't put too much efforts.....

BK has done a fabulous job in the just concluded test series. Remember they are totally spin friendly pitches. By no means it's ordinary.
adi B Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 bhuv is good, deserves to play more, the other 2 are horsesh1t,should never play for india again
jusarrived Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 BK >> VK >> PK BK shuld be in the sqaud for all 3 formats . VK may be for ODI's
fineleg Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 BK for ODIs...Tests BK still raw but maybe given a chance in SA.
sivanand82 Posted April 25, 2013 Author Posted April 25, 2013 How come BK escaped the wrath of Chriis Gayle? Anyone who has saw the match live?
sivanand82 Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 BK has performed well in CT and Triseries in WI.So Round 1 to him. Let see how VK(the pace spearhead) performs in the Tri Series in Zim.
