Umesh yadav is a future great of cricket So there will be a state where there is a real great bowler, he will be the reason we will have young following and trying to emulate him rather our trundlers heroes so they could become like Yadav He will impetus of producing fast bowler in India:dance:

I dont understand why some people still whine about India not producing fast bowlers. Its not about only producing fast bowlers. Its about how many of these will become good in test cricket and create terror in hearts of batsman just like West Indians, Australians or Pakistani did. Look at Ishant Indians had lot of hope from him but he is becoming a joke in test cricket

In his debut Test innings he was up against a marauding Imran Khan at what would be perhaps Imran's meanest best, and smat a few boundaries and six, making 70 odds runs pulling India out of doldrums. Also scored another quality 50 in West Indies. Lacked pace, but didnt lack heart for sure. Also, to me, he would always be the Tony Lock phenomenon. Just like Tony Lock took the 20th wicket in the Jim Laker test, Sandhu was the one who took the 10th wicket as Kapil took 9-83 against West Indies.

I watched pattinson bowl he bowled his heart out in the recent test series. Still cant understand why our bowlers cant do that. I really liked the aussies they never complained about pitches after losing but tried hard to win. Think we should really learn from them.

Absolutely! Our cricketers want to cry about pitches the day they reach foreign shores. Instead of crying about pitches, if they spent half that energy in trying to win, they could get so much better.

Talking strictly about the thread subject, no India state produces truly fast bowlers. The coaching that kids receive is flawed. No encouragement for slinging actions. I'm sure idiotic coaches will tell them that they're throwing the ball if a bowler bowls with a slinging action.
