I6MTW Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 He can replace sehwag. He will be in the side from now on.
The Dark Horse Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Thing is he never got to play consistently as a top order batsman either for India or TN, now that is giving him enough time to pace his innings- a cushion he didn't have earlier.

Texan Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 DK is not in the team because he is not better than Dhoni (in both batting and wicket-keeping departments).
putrevus Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 DK's problem is not the ability to play but it is more mental thing.Even for Delhi he was very good. He looks like million dollars in these IPL or domestic cricket matches but as soon as he wears Indian team jersey he looks fidgety and unsure of himself both with bat and glove. He has been given a decent run in Indian and has never looked a sure thing.
SLICKR392 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Because it is in this season he looked consistent and good enough to be on the side.
tothepoint Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Has he signed for Rhiti sports yet? No? Whose fault is it then? Godfarter :bootyshake:
The Outsider Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 He does not have the temperament of a top order batsman just like Parthiv and Dhoni don't have it. He'll get decent 50-60s but at international level you should be able to convert them into big hundreds to justify a spot as a top order batsman.
BetelLeafHater Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Betel leaf seller doesn't deserve a spot in Indian T 20.He better go and sit in local markets with lungis tied to his waist and sell those rotten betel leaf.

I would happily take someone who scores a 30-40 regularly as a top order batsman in the international T20s
