He has good FC stats. He bowled well today in the IPL on a flat track. He looks like a proper seamer, bowling around 130-135 with a good seam position and also has a batting average of 42. Could be a good all rounder. Let's see what he does in the future.

He can be good on seaming conditions but is too slow.
Not everyone has to bowl 145, mate. There are plenty of bowlers who do a good job of bowling 130-135 and bowl a good line and length and try to move the ball and pick wickets. Dont behave like those Pakis who are obsessed with phasshshst boilers even if they bowl rubbish. They are more interested in speedometer than watching the actual game.

[/quote'] Unless a pacer is highly skilled like Bhuvi, pace of atleast 135 k to 140 k is required. Also, all the pacers bowling in the 130s is not good for a bowling attack. Problem is , if Umesh is absent, our bowling attack would be that. We have 3 skilled medium pacers and our requirement is a good quicker bowler. ( not a bad one though like Ishant )

To be slow and really succeessful, one needs to be really good at his skills and consistency like Philander or Mcgrath which most Indian bowlers lack whether they are quick or slow like Dhawan. and there are not many such bowlers in world.

Could be a good bits and pieces player for ODIs. Not seen his batting though.
Only one fifty in OD cricket but he's only 23 and I think he'll grow into a fine all-rounder.
