Marshall best bowling action. :giggle: Donald, Brett Lee, Steyn , Lillie, Hadlee, Holding to an extent, Ray Lindwall looks good too.
:nono: best bowler of all time. you dont just do that without a solid action

Holding had a good consistent runup but his action was not that great. Umesh Yadav has very similar runup and action though shorter runup.

He had few flaws in his action like left lateral flexion, left arm falling too early, etc. Best fast bowler does not mean best action. His runup was pretty decent. Kumble was also a great but not a good action for a leg spinner.

Somone saying Morkel, not really and its not subject. There some techniques which decides the action. Side on or mixed side on action will mostly look better than others.

Bowlers like Thomson, Lindwall, Miller had more unique action. But unique does not mean best. Malinga is also unique but not best. You should have unique action thtead, not best if you wanted unique actions to be mentioned.

Bodyline fame England bowler Harold Larwood was 5'8" and was pretty quick and had pretty good action too. Unheard of, unique does not make any action best. If you want talk about unique, change the title.

If you are bowling at 150 km/hr, swinging in and out, getting the batsman with sharp bouncer, bowling long spells, destroying batting attacks in all conditions, then your action must be good

Best bowling action is usually the simplest and most effective one....Vaas and Akram had the smoothest bowling actions I have seen....In spin bowling it was Warne

Have to agree with this :hatsoff: But you need to pick best part of their careers to see that. Alan Donald and Waqar Younis, two other bowling actions I enjoyed the most.

Nehra, lethargic giant irfan, malinga, murali, hafeez,Ashwin etc are some of the more contemporary names I can think of. Gladstone small ,Abdul quadir, pat Patterson,Phil Simmons,Tom moody from the past

Was he ever clocked? I never any video of his where he looked like like clocking 150 or plus. He look basically a bowler who could bowl in 140s. and good does not mean best. He was more a skiddy bowler. His pace was good but by no means 150+. You need real strong actions to clock that speed. A lot of guys have good action but there are very few who were very pleasing to eyes.
