vvvslaxman Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 No one is doubting Lata's legacy but some of the songs she sung since 90's could have been sung by a younger Singer and sounded much better....For eg;Her song in Lagaan or Pukaar were very good and she singlehandedly made the song....I will also give K3G Title song the B.O.D but apart from that she took away a lot from so many other good songs. Age will affect.. Itwill make them more whiny, nasal and shaky. It is upto MDs to choose the right singers

Also on the other hand Ashaji has maintained her peak longer but I think her voice is showing age now too. +1 I have never been a big fan...I prefer Asha Bhonsle......

I always felt like her voice was very high pitched but there is no denying, she's the best we've had in Bollywood. Sachin Tendulkar of Music in Bollywood - and that says a lot Shreya Ghoshal has awesome voice - Kohli of Bollywood music
