poor poor decision.. mafias strike again
Not the first bad decision by an umpire in cricket and not going to be last. If SRT had given the same bad reaction, I gaurantee there woild have been a lot of abuse on this same forum about him. Dravid is allowed a lot of leeway by his fans here and there are clear double standards. Dare I say its also a bit of south vs north in Dravid vs SRT on this forum
he wasnt swearing or abusing.just shocked and complaining
He was clearly swearing and abusing, thats not the reaction of a shocked player

That was a lousy decision and I understand where Dravid was coming from. Both sides were desperate to win and it was obvious (from all that 'banter' during the match) that RR and MI would be baying for each other's blood. What I did not like about Dravid was that he called Pollard a 'coward' after the match, apparently. Why? Because of the way he celebrated Watson's dismissal. Watson kare toh chamatkaar, Pollard kare toh balatkaar? Dravid conveniently overlooked the send-off Watson gave to Maxwell. Nothing gentlemanly about that.

IPL contaminating even the purest ones. :headshake: Just goes on to show legends take it like a tamasha and feel compelled to play their part in whole tamasha why showing overt emotions. I am sure Dravid and Kakkis wouldn't have reacted the way they did in this IPL they considered it to proper cricket.

May be they are feeling more pressure here

Pathetic behaviour from Dravid and even more pathetic is his defense of the obnoxious Watson, who loves dishing out but can't handle a taste of his own medicine.

Bad apples in Indian cricket are rotting the purest ones too
Dravid ki sangati bigad gayi hai. No respectable guy would get into fight btw Pollard and Watson. Both of them behave like tools on field.

Dravid slams Pollard's bad behaviour

On a slightly surreal night, Rahul Dravid lost his cool and shouted at the umpire, Kieron Pollard mocked Shane Watson so much he made him leave the dugout and go into the dressing room, When Watson finally arrived, Pollard started talking to him immediately. While Watson seemed furious, Pollard seemed to be laughing almost mockingly. Watson hadn't even faced a ball. The umpires had to tell Pollard off, but he eventually had the final mock when Watson - under the pressure of falling wickets and rising asking rate - mis-hit Ojha to Pollard. After celebrating wildly, Pollard went to his boundary post and seemed to have another conversation with Watson, who sat in the dugout behind him. Eventually, Watson left the place in disgust, and finally Hodge got to bat when Royals lost another wicket. Royals needed 79 from 43 when he came in, but he and Binny brought the target down with sensible hitting. Hodge hit Ojha for four fours in the 16th over, which included a drop by Ambati Rayudu, but Malinga ensured Mumbai's clean sheet at home.

this was probably made before the sting? Its fair to say even Watson was swearing a lot. Just look at the send off he gave Maxwell. Not to mention doing his best to intimidate Tare and even having a go at him. Pollard to be fair has only ever targeted Watson. Did not see him having a go at anybody else.

Watto went OTT when he dismissed maxwell and Dravid is crying about Pollard, Dravid also abused the umpire in the same match when he was given out wrongly. I think dravid knew that Delhi police was going to pay team hotel a visit later
