What about Google search homepage? It's not going to hog your bandwidth much. I just get the feeling that my net is working fine when i open the browser.
:giggle: I rarely open google.com directly in my browser. Most of the time, I just press ctrl + E, type whatever I want to search and hit enter. It takes me directly to search results page.

None. I like my browser to open a blank page and wait for my commands. I don't want it to start hogging some bandwidth the moment it starts. If I want a site open' date=' I can keep it available on one tab all the time. I don't see the point of opening the same website every time I open a new browser window.[/quote'] +1 :agree:

It's a very good search engine. Just way too overshadowed by Google.
bing search proidves slightly accurate results on what I m looking for.. google inclines more on ads, paid results, etc., Here's an example: http://www.bing-vs-google.com/?q=tell+me+what+I+am+thinking+now P.S: Today's home page has an awesome picture :two_thumbs_up:
Both are sh!t as they sell your data. Use DuckDuckGo - privacy preserved, same search results with a lots of goodies which Google/Bing does not have. Better - you can search for Google/Bing from DDG without any hassles by preserving your privacy. :hahaha:
