G_B_ Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 LMAO looks like Srini is going to be Eddard Stark....beheaded in the end.
G_B_ Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 and like to point out, Srinivasan is not the owner of CSK.
FischerTal Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 and like to point out' date=' Srinivasan is not the owner of CSK.[/quote'] Sir Jadeja is the real owner :agree:
G_B_ Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Sir Jadeja is the real owner :agree: India Cements is the onwer. Its same with Mumbai Indians, Reliance industries a public company floated on the stock market is the owner. Neither Ambani nor Srini are the owners in the legal sense. This tactic has always been used by people who buffer themselves. Srinivasan himself will have his shareholdings in India cements via a holding company of which he is a trustee.
Prakat Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 What a fall for the most controversial BCCI President ever. Nothing says it louder than him losing his mask of decorum in public with the swearing at journalists of all the people.
The Outsider Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 he already announced that Sahara was not going to sponsor the Indian team when he announced that Pune Warrioors was quitting IPL. Now he's just taking advantage of the situation :hehe: No, Sahara had said they will continue to sponsor the team till their contract expires at the end of 2014 in their statement.
Straight Drive Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 It is a disgrace that there have been more controversies in IPL 2013 than there were in Bangladesh premiere league 2013. That tells how bad Srini is as an administrator. He just fails to have any type of control over his staff. Giving comments like i did not go to matches, so i am not aware is something you expect from chaprasi level staff, not from head of staff. He should resign.
bulbul Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 There may be a big clamour to oust N Srinivasan through a Special General Meeting (SGM) following the arrest of his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan in the IPL betting charges, but such a meeting can be postponed or even stopped from taking place by the BCCI President. The Board chief has been bestowed with powers to scuttle even a requisitioned SGM of the Board convened for this purpose, as per the Board's Memorandum of Rules and Regulations. An SGM can be requisitioned by not less than ten Full Members of the Board to transact a specific business. Clause (vi) of Rule 17 of the BCCI Memorandum states: The President may at his discretion postpone or cancel the Special General Meeting or the Meeting of the Working Committee, Standing Committee or any other Committee http://ibnlive.in.com/news/cricketnext/bcci-president-wields-power-to-cancel-requisitioned-sgm/393904-78.html

vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 changed the title to Srinivasan won't quit lol seems like he needs to be tossed out.
bulbul Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 changed the title to Srinivasan won't quit lol seems like he needs to be tossed out. Looks like there are no solid proofs against Mayappan either , everything will be settled at dinner :((
jalebi_bhai Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I think it is time for a 'Muh Kaala Karwaane-waala' brigade to take action......imagine Srini's face getting blackened.....:giggle:......
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Looks like there are no solid proofs against Mayappan either ' date=' everything will be settled at dinner :(([/quote'] This is a huge huge news for IPL. But.. coverage given by mainstream media is really sickening.. 2 ministers quit in jagan case.. that is a much bigger case.. sadly our media is giving excessive attention to this useless news. All frontpage is filled with this.. Eventually it might end up in a damp squib or they will settle for something.. all the frauds.

It isn't useless news.....cricket goes beyond being a national time pass in India......it is definitely a matter of national shame.....IPL is afterall the biggest T20 league in the world......obviously other important news shouldn't be compromised.....but this is far from useless news......

bulbul Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 BCCI chief N Srinivasan has reportedly entered the Taj Hotel in Kolkata where Jagmohan Dalmiya is hosting a dinner party for BCCI officials. Hectic lobbying is on in both camps, PTI reported :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
