Crookbond Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 One of the best innings I have seen - in any form of cricket.
G_B_ Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 i think this is more apt for our friend VVS the poster S2N_uvnvGbI
NareshK Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Match winning knock and a very special one because it contributed to a rare test match win in SA.
Sandeep99 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 These are the knocks people will remember! These are the players fans will be proud of! Went back the times and felt good... thanks for the video!
Deleted_User_1 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 VVS was MVP of the Indian team. Yes he was more valuable than anyone, Sachin, RD or anyone. When the chips were down, HE was the one to put his hand up and deliver. What a champion!!! :hatsoff:
bhumika Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 VVS was MVP of the Indian team. Yes he was more valuable than anyone, Sachin, RD or anyone. Deleted_User_1 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 But is kicked out from the team though. The others had/have choice when to quit. That's unfortunate, although he was spent when he retired. But, honestly of all the Indian batsmen I have see since the 70s, no one, I mean no one, has delivered when it counted like VVS. He thrived under "prezzure"!! :giggle: :hatsoff::hatsoff:

He thrived under "prezzure"!! :giggle: :hatsoff::hatsoff: He failed most of the time when there was no prezzure. hence his stats took a beating. Hence he is always considered slightly inferior. But it takes brass balls to play some of the innings he produced in his career.
FischerTal Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 i opened the same thread elsewhere :giggle: and they started comparing VVS to Aloo to feel better about themselves :hehe:
TheWall Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Legend' date=' miss having him and Dravid in the team.[/quote'] +10000000%
Deleted_User_1 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 He failed most of the time when there was no prezzure. hence his stats took a beating. Hence he is always considered slightly inferior. But it takes brass balls to play some of the innings he produced in his career. Maybe he needed that prezzure to perform at his best. He got bored/distracted otherwise. The way he won the game at Mohali is pure magic!!! :hatsoff: There is no fecking way he is inferior. Yes, he did not have the footwork and the defence like SRT or Sachin, but who cares when he has been the go to guy time after time again!!
FischerTal Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 yes life goal has been achieved. banned from another cricketing forum that we all love and cherish thank you VVS :cheer:
