jalebi_bhai Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 To be fair, he did the right thing on this occasion.
Sidhoni Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Even legends like Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly said nothing
Deleted_User_1 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Even legends like Gavaskar' date=' Kapil Dev, Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly said nothing[/quote'] Everyone who has to get something from BCCI will keep their mouth shut. BCCI is like a Nazi organization.
ravishingravi Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Well here is the thing. Nobody expects him to go gung ho after BCCI. But to be gagged and almost treated like a servant, a puppet. An India captain. I think it is humiliating. He could have said something very politically correct and closed it.

Everyone knows what happened was despicable. By completely avoiding any questions, they are giving the impression that they are hiding something. But then again, what more do you expect from BCCI, transparency??? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
vamos_rafa Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I would rather have him rectify the problem internally than issuing OTT statements or mundane statements.
CSK Fan Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 OK, finally saw the video of this. It was ridiculous, Dhoni looked so helpless, lol. I don't understand why BCCI didn't cancel the whole conference in the first place
King Tendulkar Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Dont blame dhoni here Does not want to get involved and getting raosted in conference Silence was correct

I don't understand why BCCI didn't cancel the whole conference in the first place[/quote'] Why is Dhoni responsible for all this? Fixing has happened in IPL and not in Indian Cricket Team. Here, he was representing Indian Cricket Team and not any IPL team and for obv reasons, happenings at IPL should not be discussed by Media here. The conference was of ICC Champions trophy, the preparedness of Indian Cricket team and the motivation of the young lads going with the team for the Champions Trohpy. IPL and its questions are gone with the IPL winding up the season. and what do you expect Dhoni to speak up??!? Those guys did it, are under trial and so what can Dhoni do about it? Srini is not resigning so what can Dhoni do abou it? Any answers to these questions Media?!?!! Why can't Media be Positive about the Mini-World Cup being played in England. Why not wish them all the best and bring in the motivation and spread positiveness. India Media should learn from BBC Style of Reporting. and DNA seriously needs to take some lessons from BBC!

As we can clearly see, BCCI board and President are trying to brush everything under the carpet For his millions of fans (and Indian cricket fans) Dhoni is the captain and representative of the country. There are fans who follow him, who see his advertisements and buy his product. He is a lot more than a player. If he makes one statement, tomorrow you will see millions on the street for him. That's the kind of power he wields. If you think IPL is not representative of the Indian team or Indian cricket or Indian country, you are wrong. It very much is and the entire nation of India has been dragged into it. The least we can expect from his is a statement

Hez neither the president of BCCI nor involved in the scandal... Team is departing for champions trophy so hez only answerable for questions related to team environment and Team preparation not all this needless questions...

Because he is the Indian team captain. The questions asked where about his personal involvement with Bindoo and about team moral. If he had nothing to hide why couldnt he answer?

Austin 3:!6 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I am very happy to see Times Now journalist being pawned..hahaha. "You please pass on the mike ya, he will answer you later" :haha: This Arnab and his times now is once of the worst news channels in the country. They think themselves as the saviour of the nation. :giggle:

The problem with such replies is there will be branch questions.. they will hound you until they make some controversial statement. how far is too far.. we don't know.. so we better keep quite. Why the heck do we need his opinion? Just because he doesn't reply you are going to assume he is okay with corruption?
vamos_rafa Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 :hysterical::hysterical: Good Joke. What I meant was, that's what I would expect ideally. Whether Dhoni does it or not is something we would come to know in the near future.

The Bcci president is known admirer of dhoni and even supported him when selectors dropped him as captain. He is captain of the CSK.It would have easy for dravid to say no comments too.Yeah Bcci is powerful and even likes of gavaskar and shastri Sprout bullshit on channels which make u want to Slap them.Best Thing for Msd would have been to say Law will take it own course and matter is under investigation. But It seems Its time for him to Payback for all srini has done for him.I mean the more u look at it The mor eu find similarities between MSD and Srini,Dhoni has Rhiti while Srini has Csk which is managed By RHITI.
