I remember last time you said he was interested in shrikant and mohit I had said he was considering them for test spot, could even go for SA. I think Mohit can be very handy in SA.

I am still surprised he wasnt picked for A tour though You need consistent bowlers on pitches like SA and Aus who concentrates on basics rather than doing too much but you find Unadkat traveling to everywhere who is far from a consistent bowler. :wall:

MCcricket Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Anwar Ahmed, Aniket Choudhury, Suyal all three are good left arm pacers but different, Suyal has very good pace is shorter but skiddier and good action , able to move the ball in and has the delivery which keeps straight and across and a very good first class record. Choudhury has made huge strides in last one year working with Pringle, is very tall has a good action and upped his pace also gets very good bounce, needs to be looked at after a bit of grooming, Anwar Ahmed should be India's Mohd Irfan a late bloomer, very tall, very good action, has aggression, good pace and bounce, looks like no one is looking at him, he had a good season on n off also had minor injuries. BCCI should look at Suyal, Anwar, Pankaj seriously as test bowlers, Fletcher , Dawes should step in as BCCI and selectors have throughout history been bad at picking up good pacers at the right time.

We had surge of left armers Zak, Nehra, Irfan, RP singh.. suddenly nobody there. Sangwan useless hack. Srikant Wagh don't know what happened to him. Everybody who is in the reckoning are righties bar may be Pawan Suyal. THe way Wagner and Boult bowled the variation relaly helped NZ. I remember seeing a guy Netrawalkar in U19. Looks like he has become a uber trundler.

Looks like he has become a uber trundler.[/quote'] Netravalkar was always a trundler. Was 115 in u19 WC, now is 125 after 4 years. Only two left arm options playing fc right now are Aniket Chaudhary, a tall fast bowler from Rajasthan and Pawan Suyal from Delhi who is quick but didnt enjoy much confidence from his Delhi captain this season.
