cowboysfan Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 how long will the Aussies hang onto him? he just cannot play spin at all and his technique outside off hasnt improved .He is a poor Man's Rohit sharma .
I6MTW Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 he makes Jadeja look technically solid.no kidding Jadeja is decently solid. Hughes is probably the worst batsmen against spin in the world.
Lord Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Jadeja is decently solid. Hughes is probably the worst batsmen against spin in the world. Jadeja isnt solid at all.he makes the team as a bowling allrounder. for a specialist batsman that isnt good enough
I6MTW Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Jadeja isnt solid at all.he makes the team as a bowling allrounder. for a specialist batsman that isnt good enough He's not as solid as pujara but he can defend well.
trundlerNO1 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 he makes Jadeja look technically solid.no kidding Hater alway gonna hate but Jadeja will have Lance Kulnser batting type stats at the end of his career. His turning himself into a very fine ODI batsman, who knows how to finish a inning. With his talent, he would be averaging around 40, I fully expect that
ganeshran Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 With his talent, he would be averaging around 40, I fully expect that +1. Average of 40 with the ball and 20 with the bat
I6MTW Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 +1. Average of 40 with the ball and 20 with the bat don't hate. He is averaging 19-20 with the ball right now and close to 40 with the bat. Plus world class fielder.

maniac Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Very Ordinary Player...the fact that he gets so many chances for Australia shows how depleted their resources are but TBF after his performance against Srilanka,he deserves this run but shouldnt have comeback in the first place.....Also feel bad for Katich....didnt deserve to be dropped from this side
NareshK Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Too many FTBs in this Aussie lineup. I think its a result of making all their pitches flat at home and easy for batting. When there is some swing, seam movement or turn, they dont have a clue. They play too many shots and dont have temperament to stay at the wicket and play patiently when the bowling is good.
trundlerNO1 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 +1. Average of 40 with the ball and 20 with the bat MY prediction of his ODI careeer Batsman: averaging 39.31 with strike rate of 81.02 Bowling: averaging 26.12 with the ball
rkt.india Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 They are preferring him over Shaun Marsh
bulbul Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 They are preferring him over Shaun Marsh  Shaun Marsh got enough opportunities,.
rkt.india Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Shaun Marsh got enough opportunities' date='.[/quote'] Marsh is better than Hughes in ODIs. He averages 36.50 scoring 1314 runs in 37 ODIs with 2 centuries and 8 half centuries. This is not a bad record by any means. He would only get better. Look at David Warner's record in comparison. 39 ODIs 1133 runs 2 centuries 6 half centuries.

It depends on recent performances , including their local ODI tourney , add to that Marsh get injured frequently.
I6MTW Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Marsh is overrated. He's usually a slow player and hit or miss.
