flawed logic.Irfan and Ishant were bowling to different set of batsmen.Still I'd say Ishant indeed did better in that series.just couldnt keep up Here we are talking about teammates.Pathan n VK were bowling to same batsmen.How did VK do better?

I thought VK was more impressive in Australia with the new ball. Warner c Sachin b Pathan..you know it was a full toss.

The only change I would ask is for Pakistan to stop sucking so we can have a competitive game. Although that's probably asking for too much.

Going into semi final , this is a good practice for our main players. So play the main team. Ofcourse our bowlers won't gain much out of this match. Definitely batsmen will have some benefits from this dead rubber.

+1 Yadav's pace might come in handy.. this match may be inconsequential technically.. but it certainly ain't no dead rubber. It is a must win match for the sake of pride.

Irfan has a decent record v Pak n good record in CT and England he should be played imo,maybe instead of BK.If he does well,specially at death maybe we can dump Ishant or Umesh :P

Why are pakis blaming selctors. They picked a good bowling attack. There are no gun batsman waiting in the wings who have not been picked. Just you have tried and tested failures to come in and again, just shuffling around poor batsman. Face it pakistan has no good batsman, the quality is simply not there. Not selectors fault

Agree Pakistan don't have many good batsman but selectors didn't do their job, they didn't select batsman who were scoring heavily in first class cricket Shoaib Malik has been poor all last year and averages mid 30's in FC was selected ahead of haris Sohail who averages 50+ in FC cricket and 40+ in List A. I know Haris might not be a international class player but selectors should do their job and pick a performing youngster ahead of Failing senior, very much like how indian selectors picked Dhawan and Rohit ahead of Gambhir and Sehwag... Imran Farhat was selected ahead of Ahmed Shehzad, he might be a hack but still better than Farhat Not selecting Umar Akmal, his form may have deteriorated but still he was 2nd best interms of average in Pakistan team (qual : 1500 runs) and best interms of S/R Abdur-Rehman and two Fast bowlers selected instead of selecting extra batsman, Our weak link was batting not bowling there should have been extra batsman in the squad Kamran Akmal ahead of M.Rizwan who is a wk. batsman from Peshawar and averages 44+ in FC and 40+ in list A cricket. Even after these selections batting would have been weak, but atleast selections would have been just
