Looks like we have found replacement for laxy and dravid. Important postion as catches win matches and he is taking the chances. Will also do a job in tests now. Good as fat and uselss in outfield, so works out in good in so many ways.

Its good Ashwin is rested for Zimbabwe tour. He can drop what his wife throws at him for being away so long.

saneindian Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Early days for him as a slip catcher but has looked good so far. He is a regular for TN and SZ in the slips and has the experience. Will be great to see if he can develop into a safe slip fielder for us.
