Vilander Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 i want to see Umesh,Aaron,Shami and BK bowl in seamer friendly conditions in a test match.
adi B Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 ^ me too but difficult to see aron back fit and pishant is here to stay
SLICKR392 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 like always i was the only one correct  :hysterical:
Vilander Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 ^ me too but difficult to see aron back fit and pishant is here to stay yeah..besides jury is still out on Aaron will he trundle once he is back to increase playing days..and pissant is picking some wickets recently..
CSK Fan Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 In india currently Ishant' date=Yadav are the two seam options and away bhuvi, ishant, yadav.
CG Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 :giggle: You did not read the whole post did u.I would also drop ishant for bhuvi but management loves ishant .
Vilander Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 + 1000000000000000 He along with Yadav and Bhuvi will be very good. But then again, the attack will become too one dimensional. We need Ishant to get back in form or find a good Left Arm Quick ... Maybe Suyal or Anwar. yup..definitely.:nice: Inform Ishant is definitly our best left arm bowler...you are right. Good analysis.
carnish Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 yup..definitely.:nice: Inform Ishant is definitly our best left arm bowler...you are right. Good analysis. I agree
vishalvirsingh Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 Since I had opened this Thread- Let me close this by sharing my closing comments......u r welcome to comment though...... Unadkat Won the battle between Shammi Mohit VK n him....... Mohit was the Runners Up and with shammi a close third....... Mohit and Shammi were kinda Too close to each other and one can't say That Shammi lost to Mohit clealry but yep Mohit was a shade better. Vk was surely the Last and probably wud have to pay the Price ...he may end up not Being picked....... One more observation was that None of these Guys were as Good As Bhuvi or Umesh. But at least I would be game to play a Recent Unadkat or Mohit or even Shammi ahead of Ishant as Ishant just as one Strength that's Bounce n nothing else...... For me as on date unadkat shammi or mohit all 3 are better bets than Lambu But again there is a point- Lambu bowled 140+ in IPL And competed with Steyn as well......I don't know why he becomes a 130 to 139K trundler In international matches and in IPL he bowls 136 to 145K
vishalvirsingh Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 I know 2 ishants One who bowls in IPL.....he surely deserves to play in India 11 But the other one who plays internatonal cricket That fellow is a trundler who gets Good bounce......
jj_28 Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Mohit Sharma looks a much better prospect than Ishant but its a sad state of affair that Ishant is playing for India right now. Umesh, Bhuvi are two great options but the rest are either untested or not justifying their hype
CSK Fan Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 You can see the difference on class between Unad and Shami in every match they played. Unadkant takes wickets and is economical. Shami is neither
BeautifulGame Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Unadkat has seriously been miles ahead of Shami so far in chances given.Even in IPL Unadkat was regular and impressive whereas Shami couldnt find a spot in the XI. He deserves to be tried in the Aus ODI series. His left arm variety will be much need addition too
Number Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 ^ Vinay is ahead of both because of his death bowling skills.
Lord Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 ^ Vinay is ahead of both because of his death bowling skills. you are back
saneindian Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 I pointed this out earlier. Shami has put on a lot of weight in the last 3-4 months and looks totally out of shape compared to his lean physique during Pak ODIs. Looks to have added 6-7 kgs and looks a lot chubbier with a very stiff upper body. Will have to shed that extra flab to get back to his previous self. As for hype, go back to the Duleep Trophy final in 2012, could easily have ended with 12-13 wickets. Bowled with good pace and moved the ball quite a lot. He was also our best pacer vs WI A and was brilliant in the only match he played vs NZ A.
Gunner Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Like Yadav, Shami is a test class bowler and shouldn't be judged on how he bowls on pattas in LOIs. He has performed consistently in the longer format both in domestic cricket and on A tours. He also has the best seam position in the country after Zaheer.
