But we dont have a good batting lineup....... If we had 350 to defend instead of 150........ But we didn have DRS........ If misbah scored at a sr of 120........ But misbah had no support at the other end.......:asleep:
rixxuu Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 trolling aside, umar is a good bat and now he has learned to play in pressure situations which will be helpfull for him in the future,at 23 he is the backbone of our batting line up which is indeed a feather in his hat. the first 30 overs were pretty much the same in ct and wi series, in ct there wasnt umar to accelrate at the end so we lost and in wi he accelerated in almost every match and negated the tuk tuk of misbah and the result is there to se.

Has he got insecurity about his place in the team?

rixxuu Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 ^^ yeah that seems logical but u know logic word is not in the selectors dicitionary. ua is not a yes man he dsnt obay the orders of tuk tuk from king misbah, thats why he is not in the good books of the socalled managemet. and the funny thing is that when he first time came into the side he replaced king misbah frm the team (both odi and tests)

He loves his cricket too much and backs his side and players no matter what they are and what they do. Unlike some Indian fans here who want to stay safe and not hype our own players, he has it a little different. I like his enthusiasm about upcoming Pakistan players. Good going buddy. Based on 1 series against West Indies you hyping him up? Mind you Rohit Sharma was the highest run scorer in the tri series in the same West Indies, still no Indian fans going gaga. Thats the difference among fans between 2 countries. However I dont blame you when you have batters like Hafeez and Amin, Umar Akmal is a breath of fresh air. He is good in Pakistan only..do not compare him with batters of India.
rixxuu Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 ^^who is comparing him with indian batters? its u who is bringing rohit in. and its a fail comparison cos akmal has an avg of 38, 39 through out his carrer and rohit after 100 odis just managed to get his avg past 20s, in westindies he just shown some mental improvements thats why i am saying it. its not hyping him.
