Austin 3:!6 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Tailunt strikes again...take that :mummydance:
Sajid_Rana Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Umar is far better batsman than any of players mentioned in title. He has established himself outside home conditions and have played some good test innings in Aus and NZ.
Hafeez Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Umar is far better batsman than any of players mentioned in title. He has established himself outside home conditions and have played some good test innings in Aus and NZ. +1 Umar akmal is also WK/Batsman now Days like Sang,Dhoni,Ab
vvvslaxman Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I'd pick Williamson and Chandimal over Rohit. Williamson probably has better defense
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Umar is far better batsman than any of players mentioned in title. He has established himself outside home conditions and have played some good test innings in Aus and NZ. Then why he is out of test side?
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Umar Akmal is a hack...stop rating him as a proper batsman Thanks
adi B Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 williamson is the best test (the real format) batsmen of the lot akmal in odis
1983-2011 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Umar Akmal is a hack...stop rating him as a proper batsman Thanks averages 38.85 with SR of 85.73 in ODIs compared to rohit's 32.37 with SR of 75.61
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 averages 38.85 with SR of 85.73 in ODIs compared to rohit's 32.37 with SR of 75.61 When you bat down the order..few not out's can boost your avg, nothing special. Umar does not have same amount of talent as Rohit, however he started showing improvement in the recent WI series.
Lord Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 When you bat down the order..few not out's can boost your avg, nothing special. Umar does not have same amount of talent as Rohit, however he started showing improvement in the recent WI series. his absolute avg(ignoring not outs) is still better than Nohit Nohit can have all the talent he wants,I'll prefer the one scoring runs
vvvslaxman Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 his absolute avg(ignoring not outs) is still better than Nohit Nohit can have all the talent he wants,I'll prefer the one scoring runs Both are mediocre. Umar is a good T20 slogger. In recent ODIs in Windies he had such T20 scenarios. He thrived against bowling of Pollard, Bravo. Probably better player than guys like Hafeez. But overall he is still the same i saw before he was dropped.
putrevus Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Nasir from BD is very underrated, he is very good player unlike other hacks in his team.
Austin 3:!6 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 his absolute avg(ignoring not outs) is still better than Nohit Nohit can have all the talent he wants,I'll prefer the one scoring runs :finger: Umar's avg excluding not out's is: 30.16
1983-2011 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 :finger: Umar's avg excluding not out's is: 30.16 thats because he doesnt get out as much like tailunt rohit:giggle:
Lord Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 :finger: Umar's avg excluding not out's is: 30.16 its 32.4 :poink:
Hafeez Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 When you bat down the order..few not out's can boost your avg, nothing special. Umar does not have same amount of talent as Rohit, however he started showing improvement in the recent WI series. compare Umar akmal Stats with Indian No-6 Raina :finger: Better Stats than Raina good On short ball unlike Raina :finger: Not played 1 match in Pakistan where Raian scored most of his runs in India :finger: To be honest Umar akmal>Rohit,Raina
rahulrulezz Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Akmal is probably the most impactful player from the current crop. In my current world 11 squad, Akmal wud easily get a spot. Rohit, I will not even put him for 'drinks carrying 11' squad
