Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 How does players like binny get a chance to go for south african series mainly based on IPL performance. Mohit sharma also made his debut only because he impressed his captain at the IPL. This is quite unfair...because somewhere or the other..Ipl is turning out to be the basis of judging talent. In that case many others like robin uthappa, manvinder bisla, sanju samson etc all deserve more than binny
Lord Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Mohit also had a strong Ranji season as for Stuart Binny, hes selector's son
Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 it's a stupid excuse of saying they played well in domestic season. Honestly all of these guys are getting rewarded for IPL. Domestic is nothing but an excuse.
Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 whenever uthappa played well in domestic and also IPL, he never got a chance...wtf
rkt.india Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 had a good domestic season, not as worse a selection as Anirudh was.
rkt.india Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 whenever uthappa played well in domestic and also IPL' date=' he never got a chance...wtf[/quote'] Oho! Robin posting himself.
div Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Oho! Robin posting himself. Rob9...Robbie..skindia :cantstop:
SLICKR392 Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 whenever uthappa played well in domestic and also IPL' date=' he never got a chance...wtf[/quote'] Robbie's spamming IDs now. :cantstop:
Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 :finger: dont talk **** guys. not even close to be related to uthappa
Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 ok forget uthappa then..im talking about the rest...how does binny out of all the people make it
jalebi_bhai Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Based on the standard of players in our domestic setup......he is a fairly decent all-rounder.......no where near Int'l standard though........
G_B_ Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 There a few limited over games on the SA A tour. Quite frankly I think Binny might become a handy all arounder for India in the ODI and T20 format.
Cricashfaq Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Mohit is a talented bowler, a very good seamer and i won't mind if he stays in the squad for the upcoming series. However, Stuart Binny in India A is not suited
Rob9 Posted August 3, 2013 Author Posted August 3, 2013 Question is never about mohit or anyone being talented or not. They all are...It's just the basis of being selected that is so unfair
saneindian Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 2011-12 Season - 9 matches, 798 runs@66 and 25 wickets@18 2012-13 season - 11 matches, 622 runs@39 and 27 wickets@35 Not the worst numbers by any means. If anything should have made to the A side last season. But having a dad as selector and decent domestic season does help.
Vilander Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 had a good domestic season' date=' not as worse a selection as Anirudh was.[/quote'] what ever dude... Anirudh definitely scored more
