You're not dumb to not understand the logic.. Point was not only about the rape .. It's also abt the respect for women.
Oh bhai, decide karlo ki Ram Rajya ki sthapana karni hai ya phir .. hum rape/discrimination against women ki baat kar rahein hain. Ma behen ki Gaaliyan har desh ke log dete hain, yeh rape ka theka sirf India ne kyon le rakha hai...you are looking at wrong reasons and distracting from the main message.

++. I can't believe this issue is even on the table. In an ideal world, I wouldn't want anyone to abuse, but that is hardly the point. In my city, woman call each bi**es and sl*ts. And it is quite common. How does one infer this ?

Ram Rajya ki sthapna he karni he... lekin woh to ek sapna he reh jayega. Lekin koshish hum phir bhi kar sakte he... Ma behen ki gaaliyan har desh me hoti he.. lekin hamara samaaj itna toot raha he ki MC BC is now spoken as punch line.. You NRIs shouldn't even comment on this if you dont know the real situation in India..

If you are fighting with another guy.. give all the gaalis to him.. but dont give gaalis to his mum or sister On same token, if a girl wants to give gaali to herself or her friend *****es and what not.. but dont bring her mom in convo..

How the **** are you talking about abroad then, if you don't know the situation outside of India.....aapko kisne bola ki india mein baahar se zyada gaali dete hain.... See, two of us can play the NRI- resident game...:giggle: Baaki Ram Rajya mein Sita ko tyaga tha Ram ne....what respect for women, what BS...:hail:

You can watch porn (which is even more disrespectful) and jerk off at it but we should restrict our use of gaaliyas. I don't see the point in anyone commenting about NRI's who are busy criticizing or making a statement on the issues in India when all we could do is browse the internet and laud at others accomplishment and get back to our personal life viz. 'no one gives a **** about others'. I know that I respect women and me using such 'gaaliyas' isn't going to make me give them any less respect.

But dont start topic on Ramayan.. we are going way off track on this thread. Btw.. you didnt give your take on these two videos in OP. So you agree with it or not?? If you agree with the message then stop wasting both of our time.

My personal take on porn.. if porn stars and porn models (18+) are creating porn videos and you are watching them.. well and good. But you are watching porn video of some minor who is forced into doing stuff then that's morally wrong and disrespectful to watch n forward such videos. Didnt get your second point but the whole point that Sriram raised i think is that if you respect your sister and mother greatly while giving MC and BC gaalis in every other sentence hardly makes much sense..

+2 Hope they rope in Kohli too and ask him to stop insulting maas and behans in general. Make him take an oath.
Situation is somewhat reverse in our house, I get a lot of abuses from women in my house (of course I give them back occasionally). Can you pls ask them to stop also?? (just j/k ;)) Some posts in this thread remind me of another thread btw.

Don't bring in misc things in here. The whole point is about rape and disrespect for women, and not about the gaalis and porn. Yes, abusing is not the right thing, but the talk here is about 100 times more severe issue than gaali-galoch i.e. rape. And the thing about porn is, if your keep the desires and stuff to yourself, porn is OK. But if your try and force it on someone, it leads to rape. So its not about porn, its about the one watching it that makes the difference.

One frustrating experience happened involving me today - I was roaming around in a nearby park. A few couples were sitting on benches. Suddenly a group of 10 girls came and some started shouting at top of their voice at one of the couples, asking them to leave saying that they can't sit close to each other in public area and basically harassing them.. I also shouted in defence of the couple saying that they weren't doing any chumma chaati, n so they aren't doing anything illegal in public place. The couple were saying the same. They started saying they were journalists n I shouldnt teach law to them n they will call their seniors, take them to police and that even they haven't seen them doing kissing n stuff but even sitting closely isn't allowed in public places , as we were shouting 3 or 4 of guys who were with them came shouting and started behaving like they wanted to start trouble. I asked the couple who were also arguing, shouting at top of their voices, not being threatened at all to just move away from the place coz there will be unnecessary trouble and time waste. They did the same and were thanking me for supporting them. This is the first time something like this happened before my eyes. The most frustrating thing is that the people (girls n boys) who came to start trouble were also youngsters of this generation. Thats the most frustrating part of this incident that happened today involving me.

The problem of "imposing your beliefs on others" - we need to learn to accept getting offended without retaliating with a "ban" or arguments like "our pure culture" etc etc. I hope you didn't land up in any trouble though.

Thankfully didn't. Starting trouble for small matters isnt worth it, so i moved the couple away frm the arguement. The frustrating thing was seeing such mentality in youngsters of this generation some of whom looked college goers and some looked college pass outs. I haven't seen this before n didnt expect to witness such a thing.

Sachin should have done it in Hindi. He connects to way more people than just Marathi manoos. He's not a state property anymore...he belongs to the entire nation.
No its was best that he did it in Marathi , something that is more integral part of his than any other fake identity. Its time he displays his Marathi Pride as much as possible. Hes the Pride of Maharashtra before anything else.
