Temujin Khaghan Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 just my opinion: if sachin completed the chennai test with a win... his figures against pak would have been different after that. he would have miandaded their minds. pak almost seemed psychologically superior after that win. kumble balanced it back with his superb 10fer... and then sehwag damaged them in pakistan... they always were wary of him... also yuvi and dhoni ---

Tendulkar has couple more bad memories against Pakistan. One in Kolkatta another in Bangalore. In Bangalore Viru was flowing like a river before Gambhir fatally ran him out. Tendulkar was all at sea against Afridi making 19 runs in 95 balls before succumbing to him.

Tendulkar was all at sea against Afridi making 19 runs in 95 balls before succumbing to him. yeah... there were some instances where sachin dominated them like that 98 in wc 03 or that knock in wc11... it would have been nice if they were converted into centuries...

IN one dayers Tendu is good against Pakistan. In Tests he hasn't fulfilled his potential against Pakistan like Dravid or Viru. Just 2 centuries and 7 fifties in 18 tests.

adi B Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 tendulkar in the last decade was very attacking and dangerous against pakistan in odis.. be it 98 in wc 03 , 141 rawalpindi 04, 123 ahmedabad 05 ,100 and 95 in pak 06, two 95+ scores 07 in india, 50 odd asia cup 012, 85 wc semi 011 .. i significantly remember sachin massacring afridi in that bilateral series in 07 india,he lofted afridi over the covers by giving himself room particularly in gwalior,he played some glorious shot of good deliveries off afridi

Since then, the complexion of India Pakistan matches has completely changed.
