He is far better than Jadeja. Looks more solid but pointless to persist with if he can't get us any wickets.
he may get 1-2 here:pray: but hes replacing Nohit so its okay in that respect.for no.7-8 hes very decent imo

Jadeja is first choice spinner should be judged on how he bowls.But he should come after Bhuvi in the 2nd inns. Cant pick bowlers based on batting credentials
I am talking about batting here and not about picking the side or selecting them based on this but if he is in side why not play him where he belongs ?

Having said that, I saw [stuart] Binny bat in the second innings and he batted beautifully - under pressure, in his first Test, team in trouble, his technique was an absolute delight. He was lovely and he was very composed, very selective in what shot to play. He was impressive and so was Kumar, who was very good in both innings. So you can say that it equalled out. I think the pitch won in the end and when tailenders can star in the match three times - once for England, twice for India - then something ain't right with the pitch.

Ishant is in as a ful ltime bowler and he bowls long spells....Yes he was poor today,But just because Binny had a catch put-down doesn't overshadow the fact that he was average overall...on top of that had a economy rate of 4.5.....totally worthless

They put down the catch who went to score a 100. Very significant wicket from a match context. It would have given him a lot of confidence.
