^^Oops didn't read the tile....I just though food I hate.....Still hate these even now. By the thread title,I will go with Upma....used to hate it....But now have to like it as it is one of the 3-4 items I can cook :((

Just looked up what the Veggie was called in Hindi/English...a vegetable called Tindoora-Hate it...closely follwed by Snake Gourd and Karela Also SeetaPhal-Don't know the English name for it-Hate it and also like the Mangoes that can be cut,Not the choosne vaale aams-Just disgusts me.
SeetaPhal=Custard Apple.. Its delicious!

Use to hate tomatoes and onions in any fish.. Now I like n Both in any dish Also in my collage days I use to hate Kerala beef curry, but I like it next to HYd biriyani Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4

yeah hated onions but dont mind eating them now,still hate tomatoes ,i hate its taste..spring onion,capsicum are some other vegetales i loathe . bhindi`s my favorite

For those calling Sitaphal as custard apple. Interesting to hear that. In north India, Sitaphal is basically referred as pumpkin. I guess in south or gujarat region they call it Custard apple. We always referred Pumpkin as sitaphal. It's only popular during Navratras when it's made during when people are fasting.

yup,even i got obfuscated ,sitaphal indeed is called pumpkin in the north

everybody is confused,custard apple generally have a smoother rind.what we get in india is 100% sugar apple.you get custard apple with really smooth rind and a different pulp from south america.
