Monty going to demand some answers if these English cricketers are not dealt with as strictly as Monty was. Cricket pitch should be definitely more sacred for a cricketer than a bouncers head.

Officials at the Oval are furious with the England team and believe it was disrespectful to the groundstaff who worked hard to provide the dry, turning pitch demanded by Andy Flower. They have contacted the ECB to inform them of what their staff at the ground witnessed and are waiting for the result of the board’s investigation. The incident was seen by Australian journalists who reported a group of players walked out on to the pitch just before midnight on Sunday and relieved themselves to the cheers of team-mates. The incident was witnessed by the groundstaff who prepared the pitch for the Test match as well as cleaners clearing the ground. “We are very disappointed,” said Richard Gould, Surrey chief executive. “Nobody wants to put the mockers on any England celebration but that will be viewed by many people and by us as an irresponsible thing to have done. Knockabout stuff is one thing. But it is a very silly thing to do on a pitch at the Oval where there is so much heritage and history. “I have spoken to the ECB let them know what we are aware of we will let them investigate further from within. We will see what they come back to us with.” The Oval is the oldest international ground in England and witnessed many famous moments in cricket history as well as the first international football match and the first FA Cup final. The incident follows just two weeks on from Monty Panesar being arrested and fined for urinating on bouncers outside a Brighton nightclub. Hugh Robertson, the Sports Minister, this morning put pressure on the ECB to investigate the incident saying "If it happened, it's not good behaviour". Andy Flower, the team director, declined to comment on the incident on Monday morning. Malcom Conn, covering the Ashes for Sydney's Daily Telegraph, described the alleged incident: "While the centre of the ground was quite dark, lights were on in the grandstands with dozens of people still cleaning up after a late finish which saw the game go beyond 7.30pm. "A number of players including Stuart Broad, Kevin Pietersen and Jimmy Anderson took it in turns urinating on the pitch to the cheers of their team-mates. This could be clearly seen from the outside overflow areas of the press box." England enjoyed a night of revelry after the drawn fifth Test gave the hosts a 3-0 series victory. Stuart Broad tweeted a picture of Matthew Prior and Alastair Cook trying to hail a London bus in their whites. Prior, the England wicket-keeper, tweeted a photograph of the players drinking beer on the Oval pitch in darkness on Sunday night. He called it the "best moment of the Ashes!!".

Dubai- Aug26, 2013 The pissing Contest In a day of several fast developments, ICC is struggling to understand and contain the fall out related to the Oval pitch pissing incident. Sources close to ICC on condition of anonymity said the ICC is clueless (just like at other times), on how to react to the incident. Australian coach Lehmann said he was "pissed off" that the English would do such a thing and said Aussies will respond in kind. An ECB spokesman has said if he were Lehman, he would be more worried about getting "pissed on" than being "pissed off". It is the Lehman response that has the ICC worried. There is a good likely hood that the urn may be replaced by a new tradition of pissing on pitches. Sources close to ECB said that, there really was literally a pissing contest on the pitch and it turned ugly as some South African players rumored to be KP and Trott, alleged that they had pissed the farthest. Not to be outmaneuvered Cook asked for DRS to be employed for finding the truth. The results of DRS are not clear (just like during a game). Interestingly, Srinivasan, the BCCI head honcho gleefully conceded; "we do not believe that the DRS is accurate. The angles cannot be measured accurately. An Indian Govt spokesman has jumped in out of turn and said India does believe in the piss process with Pakistan and is committed to piss in the sub continent. At the time of press, a new twist has been added to the incident. KP has tweeted that Broad was squatting during the act, adding fuel to already existing rumors that Broad may be a woman. It is not clear at this time if Broad was naturally like this or went thru a sex change operation. ICC has hired experts to come up with an acceptable solution and has earmarked, USD 3 million dollars to investigate and prepare a response for the Oval incident
