rkt.india Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I cannot find the scorecard of this Maharashtra vs Delhi match. I have found two U16 matches between these two teams. http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/297/297848.html http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/259/259673.html
SLICKR392 Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 ^ Who was that bowler at 1:39? Zaheer-esque action.
rkt.india Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 ^ Who was that bowler at 1:39? Zaheer-esque action. I guess this. http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/923/923657/923657.html But it is Sarang Rawat who looks a real talent. http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/1061/1061455/1061455.html

King Tendulkar Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Vijay Zol On his first class debut for India A v NZ A has just scored 50 of 57 balls. What a talent we may have here, 18 years old!!
G_B_ Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Smashes ton on FC debut. Wow:hatsoff: better make a good and bad thread for him KT. It will keep your 100% hedging record intact.
Jersey #10 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Should get called up to the International side soon I guess. We need more guys like him.
rahulrulezz Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 He should looked into senior squad... Sachin was barely 16 when he debuted.. All legends of the game were brought into the game when they were young... Bradman, Kapil, Lara, Ponting, Flintoff all debuted whey they were in their 19s or touchin 20.. Don't understand why we have to try this English text book style of first proving yourself in domestic till 24 and then getting a debut... Even England have bypassed this policy and have Root, Broad, Finn coming in 19s
jj_28 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 dont rush the guy, he'll be in the team soon enough

India should not be afraid of throwing them in the deepend.
rkt.india Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Cook was in his early 20s when he made debut. Graeme smith was also in his early 20s. India should not be afraid of throwing them in the deep end. But they all had played a lot of FC cricket before international debut. I still believe he should play 2-3 years of FC cricket and A tours which is absolutely essential for a player's development.

rkt.india Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Probably a season at best. lack of FC cricket at their early developmental years is one of the reasons likes of Yuvraj, Raina, and Ishant could not deliver to their promises. Thrown early into sea can make or break a talent.
cowboysfan Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I agree with rkt for 95% of prospects but some guys are special and need to skip a few steps .
