He is not good enough. I don't know what more to tell you. He doesn't look at all convincing. Will cost us an important match in the WC if he had to win us a match from somewhere like 40 from 26 balls or similar situation. His bowling is already inept away from home. I have more doubt on Ashwin's bowling overseas, he has stinking up the joint, he fricking antics with that stopping in middle and then pitching it too short has been common theme. Rahane will get his chances during the next 15 months, Pujara will make a comeback into odis too.

Yes Ashwin was awful yesterday, there was good turn available but he kept bowling poor length and line for trying so many things. Imo, he at times turns up with a mindset that going around 5-5.5 is no big deal in away games which is wrong. Once Jadeja came and troubled SA bats, then only he realized that he needs to pitch in the right area.

He has improved drastically. Bowled superbly in CT and was also our best bowler yesterday. He has been better than Ashwin.

That is where Dhoni captaincy comes into the equation instead of using his fricking part timers if he was afraid of fast bowlers he should have brought both spinners in at the same and let them bowl 3 overs each in tandem. There is no excuse of getting part timer bowlers into the match when other team is batting with all ten wickets intact wtf was he trying to do. Rahane does not inspire any confidence but he will get his chances.

Can make the team on his bowling alone. The fact he is the best fielder and also a very decent bat down the order makes him very valuable

He will do fine at SC. He needs to concentrate on his batting. Ever since he started picking up wickets, he has stopped concentrating on his batting. If he concentrates, he can become a good batsmen. He has shown potential(the last two ODI games for example). Bowling, however is good at spin friendly tracks. On green tracks, however, he needs to improve.

Even in the subcontinent he has struggled against good fast bowlers. And the WC is in Australia no in SC. His position is very critical and he will need to come up with these knocks especially if the top order fails and I don't know if he will be able to do that. Even in the last two odis, he has gotten most of his runs against Tsotsobe and Parnell, the lesser of the bowlers.
