I like Sanjay Manjekar actually. I prefer his commentary over Bhogle or even Gavaskar. Yes he does come with a Mumbai bias and love for Rameez and P@ks, that apart, he is tolerable.

Murali Kartik would be a welcome addition to the commentary panel.

Like most commentators, he didn't analyse the game well enough. He treated the audience like they were watching cricket for the first time and hadn't seen many of the players. There are worse commentators, particularly the Sri Lankan lot, but until they are allowed to speak freely, they'll all be boring.

I guess its a bit harsh on Sanjay as they probably dumped him for Dravid. But its nothing to do with the BCCI if thats the case. Clearly Dravid and Ganguly will easily walk into any commentary team as things stand

Hahaha ..Funny ..I remember Sanjay Manjrekar had to take early retirement when he was just 32 due to David and Ganguly bursting on the scene in 1996 ..He was the best batsmen of India from 1988-1992 .. and now , seems like history repeating itself after almost two decades ..it seems he has to retire from commentary too due to David and Ganguly bursting on the commentary scene in 2013 ..:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
