He cant cos unlike in T20s he will have to decide when to hit or block in ODIs..its easier in T20s where he has to just swing his bat without thinking ...same while opening , one position where he can play his own game ...no pressure if he bats at a sr of 70 or 120.

Raina at no.4 is a great move. Hardworking player with good experience, deserves to play higher and contribute at a greater level. There seems to be plain hatred for him as again many people just assume that Pujara or some other XYZ are destined for greatness. Doesn't work in real world.

Its quite shocking to see Raina still cannot play short pitch deliveries after 6 years of international cricket. I feel sorry to hear Rohit still coming to terms in international cricket. Our selection these days focus too much on IPL form and hence this issue. We have some players (like Pujara) only plays tests and not ODI's. Similarly, its time for selectors to realize some players are only for IPL and not suited for international arena.

Huh, short memories?? Raina was one of the key reasons we won the WC. Just because the audience doesn't have much attention on him, doesn't make him a bad player. And next, every player has technical difficulties, even your Pujara. And technique itself can be overrated as matter of fact is a runs is all that matter. Many successful players don't boost with great techniques. Poor reason to talk about technique each time.
