vijay50 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 How about Sidhoni please for semifinals and finals.how come SLICKR already created the thread.
SLICKR392 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 probably warne should be the last spinner to give tips about taming indian batsmen True. :cantstop: We struggled more against Duminy than this guy in SA.
Crookbond Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Who will captain Sri Lanka against West Indies? Official Word - SL doesn't know who will lead Analysis - They had almost 4-5 captains in the entire tournament from Chandimal to Matthews. Jaywardene though is the only one who has looked like a captain. Flashback - Last year Jayawardene flouted the rules by switching the captaincy with Sangakkara in the Super 8's to avoid a 1-match suspension in the semi-finals. http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-world-twenty20-2012/content/story/585075.html So, Sri Lanka ka captain kaun?
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 will be Malinga is what I have read in some forums..
Straight Drive Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I am still unable to understand what Dinesh Chandimal brings to their batting line up in a T20 match. Also, he is neither much experienced player in other formats, so giving him captaincy is like wasting a specialist batsmans spot. Can Jeevan Mendis bat badly than him. Also, Jeevan can give them a option of 4 overs if he is bowling well on that particular day.
maniac Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Jaya makes most of the desicions anyways....rest are all proxy, Anyways I thought it was pretty smart and out of the box what they did last WT20 to exploit the loophole in the rule :dontknow:
GrandMasterSaxy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Atleast India has cotinued the legacy of producing world class batsmen. I guess the last world class bowler Pakistan produced was Waseem Akram ? The current lot of so called Pakistani phaaast bowlers are infact fartbowlers. Not a surprise that India has never produced a World Class bowler.
GrandMasterSaxy Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 This guy has some serious attitude problem (just like any other Pakistani player), he bluntly refused to be interviewed by Manjrekar during the innings break (after scoring century against Bangladesh)
IndianRenegade Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 NDTV reports Malinga will captain. Chandimal 'opts out' :cantstop:
Sidhoni Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Cricinfo says Malinga will lead as Chandimal 'opts out'. http://www.espncricinfo.com/world-t20/content/story/733693.html
G_B_ Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 LOL its so clear that Mahela and Sanga pull all the strings in that SL side. Remote control captaincy. Thats one thing I loved about Sachin. Yes he gave inputs to MSD, but he always let MSD make all the calls. Why does Mahela not become a captain himself and stop these sort of tactics? If he trying to send a message to the SLC board or admin?
maniac Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Will Rain Screw S.A again? As much as I would like to see India win in a competitive match,it would be epic lulz if S.A got screwed over by Rain yet again. This time going a step even further by not even playing a single ball :giggle: Just for the Lulz,I kind of hope this happens.
