SLICKR392 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Great question to ask on the eve of a major ICC event's final.
SLICKR392 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 which one is kusal parera the opener ? Yep. Has a bad record against spin. Never really scored runs against us.

bulbul Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Great question to ask on the eve of a major ICC event's final. They are searching him from some time.
rkt.india Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Shami will be exactly what the opposition would want... Look at Steyn, he is class above everyone but he couldn't do jack with his pace defending 170. Mohit is not exactly a pro himself but a better option than Shami because he's shown more control and moreover Batsman have to use power to hit him rather than just use his pace. Mohit isnt really slower than Shami. Shami average pace 86, Mohit 85, but Shami sprays the ball more. Against Mohit, batsmen will have to take more risks. he bowled better yorkers too.
SLICKR392 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 They are searching him from some time. I know; could have waited until the finals was done and dusted. Bunch of Hyenas!
BlueBee Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I would like to see Bhuvi and co not giving him room outside off. They should try to bowl on the middle and off.

G_B_ Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I am into bdsm. However a correct term would be how to bring kusak perera to heel......
CG Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Mohit isnt really slower than Shami. Shami average pace 86, Mohit 85, but Shami sprays the ball more. Against Mohit, batsmen will have to take more risks. he bowled better yorkers too. Mohit is slower than shami, shami has had far too much cricket yet he has maintained his speed. He has zip which other guys lack.In final her has to play as he can take wickets.
div Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Mohit is slower than shami' date='shami has had far too much cricket yet he has maintained his speed. He has zip which other guys lack.In final her has to play as he can take wickets.[/quote'] Kusal Perera, Thirimanne-inform players Sanga-class player and Shami has pathetic record against left handers.

TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 By bowling to him. He usually sucks against us.
rkt.india Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Mohit is slower than shami' date='shami has had far too much cricket yet he has maintained his speed. He has zip which other guys lack.In final her has to play as he can take wickets.[/quote'] 2-3k of pace difference isnt big and his control isnt that good. As I said, Mohit averaged 85, Shami 86, Mohit quickest 87, Shami 89. Mohit showed better yorkers. There isnt much difference between the two even stats wise.
Raghav_12 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 India doesn't pay a lot of heed to Int. T20 cricket. I don't really care who leads us since we play about 4-5 games in 2 years. yeah.. I hardly care whether he continues in T 20 as captain or not. I am fine as long he spares our test team from his esteemed presence.
afan Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Had it been Shami in the team ,the previous night, would the total to chase been anything lesser? even 10 runs? if so go with Shami..if not, play the same team. Im of the opinion, Shami shud have played the last game...But now lets continue the same team for the final, as Shami will be under scrutiny and more pressure wudnt help the teams cause
