Younus answer must have been in relative terms, i.e Bangla improvement in 10 years vs Afghan improvement in 3-4 years. Understand?:two_thumbs_up:

BD A team beat Afghanistan during ACC T20 (the format they are most likely to beat BD) and the national team beat them by like 8 wickets during a T20 exhibition match in the Windies... I really dont see the fuss.... However that does not mean that Afghanistan cannot beat us, they definitely pose a threat for T20's. They do have better fast bowlers than BD team.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free Letting Bangladesh still play test cricket is the reason we now have cricket as the number 1 sports in our country (before it was football), and we are slowly but surely creating a good bunch of players as a result (since more youngstars are enticed to play the game)... You cannot give a bunch of Semi Pro's test status and suddenly hope that team would be world beaters even if they play 100 matches (for example, Prabhakars and Manjrekars can only be so good)... What test status did for Bangladesh was to bring new players to the game and the result is visible now....

The way Pakistan and SL are sliding down we will have the better of them in the future we need more overseas tour. Yes a series in india will be nice but we need to learn how to play overseas under alien conditions. I will take an Irish tour over an Indian tour given that the series televised and the pitches have juice for fast bowlers We have shown our worth at home but losing an odi series in Zimbabwe did us no good. Need to play overseas and I can guarantee that we will become a top team with the talent we have.
Jersey #10 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I hope they clean sweep this series. It's about time BD stood up on the world stage. We need more than 4 good teams in the world. It would be nice to see even Zimbabwe get some pump in their kicks. It would be ideal to have even more teams like Ireland or even Canada for that matter rise to the world stage. It would be ideal to have at least 10 really really good teams.
Pagalpanti Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Its great to see likes of Zimbabwe and BD finally putting their progress into results.. Bangladesh still have to improve in tests though. I think with BPL they finally have started to figure out how to win in shorter formats.
