Dhawan and Kohli will be next. Maybe Dhoni, if he bats earlier.
Dhawan gets like 2-3 lives everytime he scores more than 70. I haven't seen him score big without getting more than 1 chances. Kohli...ehh ya. I can see him doing it. Dhoni can do it in 20 overs if he gets going :hysterical: no need to come in early for him.

Dhawan has scored it in domestic. He is capable of scoring but he never scored big after getting to the 100 mark. Kohli can do it, but he doesn't get to a situation where it's needed. Dhoni cannot do it in 20 overs even if he gets going because he scored a couple of boundaries then defends. If he comes in the 5th over, then he has a chance.

I have been a critic of this guy for his numerous failures and pathetic temperament in the past but I also like to give credit where it is due and his innings today was sensational. Even with the way things have become a joke in ODI these days, only 2 other players had reached 200 to date in this format. Now he has cemented his name along side Sachin and Viru :hatsoff: He is in the kind of form where he knows that he can accelerate at any given time once he gets his eye in. So hopefully he keeps the form going in LOI cricket and forms a dashing opening partnership with Dhawan!

lungi: A long piece of brightly coloured cloth (cotton or silk) used as clothing (a skirt or loincloth or sash etc.) in India and Pakistan and Burma
:hmmm: So something you wear in Bangladesh as well then. I think you wanted to say it's like someone is so amazed with the performance that he can't even noticed if his lungi is taken off?

Rohit's first 50 took him all of 71 balls. During that period, he played out 39 dot balls, took 24 singles, hit three fours and one six. In complete contrast, his last 59 came from a mere 18 balls: it included seven sixes and three fours, and he played out only four dot balls. Rohit brought up his 150 with only 27 balls left in the innings; at that point, it would've been unthinkable to imagine that he'd get a double. Yet, he faced two-thirds of the remaining balls from that stage (MS Dhoni scored 32 from 9 balls), and ended up on 209.

When a good player creates a record, player's stature grows up. When an average players breaks a record, record's value comes down.
What's the definition of a good player?

Proven good record.
Record alone does not make someone good, like a rookie will never have a proven record, but it does not mean he cannot be good but he is picked because he is good. It take years to create proven records. A good player is a good player whether he has a proven record or not and if someone scored 209 in an ODI, then he must be a good player and scores like is what create proven records.

OIC... but people who wear it also wear shorts (similar to beach shorts) underneath it don't they? They should wear only the lungi to really feel the coolness otherwise.
