NareshK Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Considering that it's our home pitches' date=' don't think we can complain much[/quote'] Do bowlers prepare the pitches ? Talk some sense.
India-KXIP fan Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Like the selectors kept backing Rohit they will keep backing Ishant to come good too. He will fix his technical problems and become the bowler he always had the potential to become. Haters will hate but Dhoni and the selectors will keep their faith in Ishant too. @OP, it's not sad. It's great news because of these massive scores Ishant will be forgiven by Dhoni and the selectors and will retain his spot :yay:
adi B Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 sick of these pattas..our bowlers dont get any help from bcci or the curators considering the highways they are bowling on,just runfests..feel sad for the bowlers, totally helpless
Ibes Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 6 odis ago we lost to a very determined bowling outfit on a pretty good pitch. I want to see a proper contest like that. What does it say about Indian pitches if all 4 of the highest ODI scores are made in India.
Stuge Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I am one of those who has always backed Rohit, but I can say he really didn't deserve what he did today, at least not now. THis statement surely doesn't make sense to me .
rageaddict Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 It was such a boring game, infact its such a boring series right from the start where everything is predictable. Cricket used to be a contest between bat and ball but in recent times in India , it has become a contest between bat v/s bat. Bowlers dont matter , jo opposition ke dhaasu bowlers ko jayada dhoega un batsmen ki team jeetegi. I cant believe that once upon a time I used to be a die hard fan of this crap sport. I would seriously have to give up watch Cricket in India if I want to sustain my interest in the sport, afterall when I look at other matches outside India ( for example the current Pak SA ) series I regain my faith in the sport once again. Its a pity that the BCCI is trying to take advantage of Worlds Craziest Cricket fans by feeding them an overdose of undeserving Sixes and fours. They think that we are some stupid people who will keep rejoicing and they will keep minting money by selling us Sixes. The pitches in India were always batting friendly but not to this extent where 360 is crossed thrice in 5 matches, thats just insane. Ever since IPL has started our pitches are getting more and more flatter with each passing season.
express bowling Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I don't like this complete batsmen dominating conditions and rules at all.
express bowling Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The best part of cricket was competition between bat and ball.
nitinbwj Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 STFU you all.Enjoy the game. When Aus smacked 350 twice, everyone blamed our shyte bowling.Where was the pitch talk then ?

Zanjeer Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The way Maxwell is going, its definitely sad for India..
Raghav_12 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 yeah.. it's like stick cricket.. doesn't make much sense.
Sajid_Rana Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Great match going on. This is what you call quality cricket to promote the game. Pak/SA series where bowlers have assistance from pitch is just not cricket.
CSK Fan Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Great match going on. This is what you call quality cricket to promote the game. Pak/SA series where bowlers have assistance from pitch is just not cricket. Lol, both are two extremes. Here, bat is dominating, there batsmen cannot hold a bat and cross 200. Some of the shots in SA-Pak games were worse than school boy cricket Ideal match would be somewhere in between
Manny_Pacquiao Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 If you think this is boring, Feel free to tune into the highly entertaining, high quality cricket going on in the Arab desert between phakistan and South Africa. Nothing beats watching limp dikc paki batsmen pushing s scorching rate of 3 runs an over against the mighty Wayne Parnell and Imran tahier, electrifying cricket.
Old guy Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Lol, both are two extremes. Here, bat is dominating, there batsmen cannot hold a bat and cross 200. Some of the shots in SA-Pak games were worse than school boy cricket Ideal match would be somewhere in between ideal cricket was in CT ..wickets helped bowlers but if you are good with bat you will score runs .. so we ended up scoring lots of runs and bowling out team quickly..total domination :--D
Ibes Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Nagpur has always been a road. There are no excuses for Bangalore to be just as flat.
Debutant Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I can't remember a more entertaining and thrilling ODI series recently. Absolutely loved each and every match. Hope this trend continues in future. If it so sad, you can watch Pakis collapsing for 6 or 7 runs :good:
