King Tendulkar
I Just wish he could do all he is doing at 80 to 82 mph, not express just half decent pace. Surely he get up to that speed generally. Surely he get up to that speed with hard work. He could be real asset if he could. Link to comment

rkt.india
Easily better option than Aaron Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk Aaron isnt ready for tests yet as he lost valuable learning time due to injuries. Link to comment
rkt.india
Yes' date=' when he is not picking wickets, he still doesn't bowl lose. There is a reason he has gone for only 51 runs while Ishant has gone for 100 of similar number of overs[/quote'] This is the reason. You need to have a bowler who doesnt leak too many runs, doesnt try too much and bowl to a plan. His average too will get better. Bowlers who leak runs will not have a good average. Link to comment

If Bhuvi can bat like he has so far in his career, he could do a decent all rounders job. Link to comment

Joginder Sharma even now will bowl better than him in England if called up. Link to comment
express bowling
If we can bring in Pankaj in place of Binny, our bowling will look far better . Binny bats at 8 and that spot needs to go to an out and out bowler. BK can bat at 8. Link to comment
express bowling
Binny is not being bowled. He is batting at 8. Why is he in the team !! Link to comment
Bleed-Blue
Binny is not being bowled. He is batting at 8. Why is he in the team !! Agreed, If he is being selected he should at least bat him @ 7 and bowl more than 10 over but Dhoni obviously does not trust him to do these two things. Link to comment
Crookbond
Pace is a vital ingredient to do well in international cricket, particularly tests. Why are you so reticent to accept this? Why does this fact hurt you so much? There are plenty of flat tracks in world cricket in tests. That's were pace becomes even more crucial. I repeat again. As soon as ball comes 15 to 20 overs old. BK and co become buffet stuff, dhoni may even decide to stand up to him. Do you really think this will have impact against worlds best? If oppo is 30-0 loss after 15 overs. BK will become a passenger :--D Link to comment

Straight Drive
Might get the Man of the series given his form of 5 wickets haul and 3 * 50's in just two tests so far. Even Kallis or many proper all rounders would be proud to perform like this with both bat and ball. It is good to see a specialist giving the performance which is expected only form top class all rounders. Helps change team compositions if need be. Link to comment

undisputed chap
Imo he still should be considered as a bowler who can bat a bit. His bowling is just too invaluable for us Let him continue to bat at no 9 instead of pushing him up the order & let him continue to work on his bowling . Link to comment
saneindian
No' date=' he is not. [b']Stopping runs does not make him best in test cricket. Ishant looked the best bowler today. Even commentators said this. 7 tests and 9 wickets to show for. How would you justify picking this guy. But but he can contain runs Looking like the worst seamer on display till now. Test match primarily is about taking wickets. He has never really troubled the batsmen. This trundler quota has been costing us for quite some time. 3 decent bowlers with reasonable pace and bounce would have created far more pressure. I want Pankaj in the team too. Shami, Ishant, Pankaj and Aaron ,with Ashwin as the alrounder, could be quite potent. Prior wasn't out really. Ball missed the bat by a big margin. If we are overjoyed by one wicket by a frontline seamer, in England, in conditions when the ball is swinging for all the seamers in the after lunch session.... then what can be said. Bhuvi has to do this consistently. Time for eating some humble pies Look at the depths some people go to criticize, Prior was not out, trundler quota blah blah  Link to comment
CSK Fan
Best is people pointing out his previous tests. In his first few tests, Dhoni used him like Binny. In his first test, Dhoni gave in 4 overs, then brought him after 60 overs and in total bowled him only for 12 overs. Yes, that will make a debutante succeed Link to comment
diga
BTW felt that the zip in his bowling was missing yesterday.. hope he has not been overbowled in the first innings. Link to comment

BTW Ishant in the same match bowled 2 overs at the start and then came back for his next spell in the 60th over! Link to comment
