Hopeless against genuine pace and garbage against quality spin. Will be a huge passenger in Australian conditions. This guy has caused untold damage to Indian cricket- stemming from when he was first put in the test team as Yuvi's replacement over far more deserving candidates (Pujara' date=' Rahane, Rohit, Kohli, Badrinath) resulting in india having no ready made test class batsmen available to aid us on difficult tours to England and Australia whilst our ageing stars were declining and Viru/Gauti were reclining. Had it not been for him we wouldn't have lost so badly in England and Australia and we would not have lost to England at home.[/quote'] idiot and badrinath lol that guy was a bigger hack go drown in sambhar *****

Typical ghoda-ghadi fan.. jumping from horse to another.. He was MOS against England in 5 Matches series earlier this.... Raina is the best team player, most agressive in pressure situation, best striker (92 Strike rate), best fielder, good part timer offie and best match winner in our Indian team.... I would pick him right after Kohli as our best ODI player..
Who me?? Suresh-Raina_6.jpg

firstly I'm by no means a badrinath fan- I just said he is a more deserving candidate than Raina and would have contributed more to the indian test side than raina ever could. Go check the difference in first class stats. Secondly, despite your attack being inaccurate and stupid (as I'm not even from south india), I still find your racism downright offensive

Secondly' date=' despite your attack being inaccurate and stupid (as I'm not even from south india), I still find your racism downright offensive you piece of filth[/quote'] first class stats for Badrinath were inflated. If anyone saw Badrinath bat against Lee in that tour match, they would realize badrinath is crap. By the way, Raina is crap too in tests. No one is advocating Raina for the test team. Go refill your sambhar

As far as first class cricket is concerned, I agree badrinath is not fantastically good either- but he's a better pure batsmen than raina could ever be and definitely more deserving of a test place. and seriously your obsession with suresh raina's sambhar needs to end.

If Raina is to play in oz. Would bat him 6 and tell him to go for it' date=' hopefully will come in slog overs with licence[/quote'] if the world cup was in subcontinent or even england/windies I would back this strategy as it would give continuity to batting line up, add to fielding quality of team and add an extra 20-25 runs to the end of the innings during the slog. BUT- Oz wickets are too bouncy for him to even contribute a cameo.

no one is going to bowl short to Raina in the death overs. If he comes at number 6 that is. And Badrinath is a hack not a pure batsman. The guy must have had 75% of his runs off of inside/outside edges.

Raina and yuvraj make life easier for others, even though theirs is tough:hysterical: As soon as yuvraj and raina enter, skippers bring their premier pacers back on. So a lot of the best pacers overs are used/saved on these two, who always targeted and peppered as soon as they walk to crease:cantstop:
