Correction ..we will be paying two spinner -allrounders :two_thumbs_up: Jadeja has potential in the test arena 'coz if no one withut patience can score three Triple centuries , even on the most pata wickets, unless he has patience , stamina and perseverance to construct an inning .SAchin never scored a triple 'coz his eagerness to dominate an attack led him to lose the wicket after century /double century .This is a typical problem where he has to balance out his training to concentrate on both the areas . When he came in ODI /test setup , he was more of a batsman. Now , he looks more of a bowler .He needs to consult someone like Kapil Dev /Ravi Shastri , who are there in the commentary boxes in every game, to work out his training regime.

Why talk about Sachin's inability to score 300 in any format of the game? Sachin was an accomplished batsman, had a nice square drive, nice straight drive/off drive/flick. The problem is with Jadeja's technique. He looks more like a mid wicket slogger than a proper batsman the reason why the jadeja has hardly been handy with the bat. Ashwin despite being labelled as a bowler seems much more composed, and not suprisingly has 3 Test hundreds to his name

It's going to be a toss up between Rahane and him i.ee, between 5 specialist batsman +2 spinner all-rounders + 1 batsman -w/k vs. 6 specialist batsman + 1 spinner-allrounder + 1 batsman-w/k strategy . I am pretty certain that Jadeja will play in the first test .If batting does not hold up in that test , only then is Rahane likely to be brought in the next test .If they wanted to play Rahane , they would have found a way to blood him during the WI Home test series .:orderorder:

No comparsion ..only mentioned a fact to underscore the different approaches of the two .. BTW , if Mooli fails , Jadeja can be offered as a Sacrificial lamb to Steyn/Morkel as the opener of the innings ..I won't rule that out :finger:
