GrandMasterSaxy Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I believe Akhtar and Afridi were quite close at one point of time ?
GrandMasterSaxy Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Pakistan team is full of Jokers and "jahils"
Austin 3:!6 Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Watch the video closely. In the end is Akhtar making some match fixing allegations against Afridi? :hmmm:
GrandMasterSaxy Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Has to be Afridi.....Akhtar is a foul mouthed but there has to be some truth in whatever he said. I am sure most of the people (after watching the video) will forget the fight/war of words and would ponder only on the match fixing allegations. ICC/PCB/ACSU need to scutinize further into this.
Yoda-esque Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Looks like Jaahil has become everybody's new word
Dravid Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 2 tards going at it:hysterical: akhtar was here in texas few months back, real shyt attitude. u cant pick a right guy in this
jf1gp_1 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 'I dont want to say anything personal about afridi but i can write a book' :hysterical: The last statement was interesting but the anchor cut him off
Cricketics Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I agree with Afridi here :) He said it perfectly though and I doubt anyone would disagree whether he is a Pakistani or some neutral. He said "Muje samaj nahi Aaata jab hum haartein hai, toh Media walein aise character ko le aate hai interview ke liye jinka decision khud saari zindagi ganda raha hai" Hahaha. Akhtar's reply was priceliess too. He says "Dekhiye, mujhe toh harat hai ki yeh abhi tak bada nahi hua. Jis maturity se yeh khelta hai ushi maturity se yeh media mein baat karta hai." EPIC.

jf1gp_1 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Translation please :hitler: Afridi upon returning to Pak after ODI series ' why do you media guys bring people like mr beans with tainted past (basically without naming named akhtar) as experts to comment about pakistans loss, why not bring positive ppl ?' Akhtar ' cant believe after playing for pak for so many years he still behave like a child. When one criticize misbah he accepts the feedback in positive manner yet he still he has not matured. younis , me etc know exactly how talented afridi is, sometime he calls himself batsman , sometime bowler then goes back to being a batsman. I dont want to get personal but if i started writing about him and all that he has done i could write a book. Media doesnt select a player his on field performance matters. I shoaib was only dropped when i was unfit or out of form, when i was bowling well i didnt care what media said nor was i dropped' But here is how he ends and this is where the anchor cuts him he goes ' i know what our players have done in India and who all been sold'
vvvslaxman Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^ Thanks.. I expect more back and forth responses from various players.
vvvslaxman Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 After reading a bit more about it i have to say Afridi got really touchy. When you are in sports or entertainment industry you have to learn to be thick skinned. Sure Akhtar has criticized him alongwith Yousuf. Manjrekar, Ian chappell, Kapil so many have criticized Tendulkar. Did he go out and act like a petulant child. Regardless of quality of the players who made comments, there will always be some comments about all players. Once Afridi retires he can do the same to others. Best answer is on the field.
Switchblade Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Sarfaraz Nawaz has asked the Pakistan Government to look into the fixing matter :hysterical: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ytiVLzgqgs]Afridi should pray & do Astaghfaar for his bad deeds Sarfaraz Nawaz - YouTube[/ame]
Iconoclast Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Sarfaraz Nawaz has asked the Pakistan Government to look into the fixing matter For once I agree with Sarfraaz .. fixing is a cancer in our side and it needs to be stomped out ! When we truly get serious on this matter is when we can finally mover forward from this dark period in Pak cricket.
Austin 3:!6 Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 For once I agree with Sarfraaz .. fixing is a cancer in our side and it needs to be stomped out ! When we truly get serious on this matter is when we can finally mover forward from this dark period in Pak cricket. But aren't there fans who wants Amir to be back in the side by playing the victim card??? :headshake: I think not only authority but the mindset of fans also needs to be changed in order to remove corruption in Pak cricket. Look at India, we have banned all our cricketers for life as soon as we found anything related to fixing. And here we are with 3 Pak players been jailed and fans want him back in the side. Trust me - Fixing will never stop in Pakistan because directly or in directly general public of Pakistan support corrupt people.
