here's the thing - they haven't taken many stands. They've just been shouting and pointing fingers without giving any concrete plans as to how they would change the system and work for development if given a chance. Other may be impressed but I certainly am highly skeptic of AAP and I don't think it will last long.

AAP ate into the anti incumbency of the Congress. A lot of on-the-fence voters who didnt want to go for Congress and would have otherwise voted for BJP or abstained went for AAP this time.

yup. i think they don't want own responsibility and if they fail they will be booted forever. very defensive in my opinion. I think this is their chance they have to own responsibility instead of fearing for failure.

Dynamics are clear: 1) AAP does not want to form a govt since it cannot fufill the lofty promises it made to the people.They have gone so far ahead in the moral race that they have already alienated the big parties. 2)Congress wants to form the govt and wants to align with AAP.They know their goose is cooked as far as the general elections go and this is just some attempt to hold on to whatever power that can have 3) BJP knows that all they they need too do is not make any Mistakes and they will win the GE.Inviting AAP to form the govt is a win win for them.

keep reading.....then you will get to know how most of their ideas/plans etc are just wild fantasies. Right now they are in a pretty bad position - IMO the only thing they knew how to do (and wanted to do) was to shout and criticize the Govt. but now suddenly they got 28 seats and now a lot of people expect them to respect this mandate and actually start governing by supporting BJP/Cong. On the other hand if they don't support anyone then there will be re-elections most probably alongside Lok Sabha polls and that means sure shot victory for BJP.

What lot of people? I am yet to see an AAP supporter who wants to give/take support to the BJP/Congress. It is mainly Congress and BJP supporters who want it so AAP can be dragged in the same cesspool of filth Congress and BJP are in. It will be a joke on their supporters if AAP were to have anything to do with the Congress when 75% of their campaign was against the Congress government in Delhi.

On the other hand if they don't support anyone then there will be re-elections most probably alongside Lok Sabha polls and that means sure shot victory for BJP.

Yeah, just like AAP was not supposed to get more than 5 seats. No AAP supporter is going anywhere soon. Transfer of anti-BJP Muslim votes which went to Congress will be enough to give AAP a majority.
