Austin 3:!6 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Zaheer is the only player from senior lot whom Dhoni like. So he is not going anywhere. If it was Bhajji, Sehwag, Gauti they would have never made a comeback.
maniac Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Europe ghoom liya abhi Amreeka bhej do Worldcup ke pehle :phehehe:
vvvslaxman Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 zaheer will be there as mentor for a while. may be 1 or 2 series more? that's it.
vijay50 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I thought Dhoni like Bhajji also. They have some joint venture in construction business.
MCcricket Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Zaheer should retire or not selected for the next tour , that's it retire, he has lost zip of the wicket, 5 k or more pace, lost a bit of control, he should make way for some one else, if the selectors are pragmatic he would not be picked up, he is not a spring chicken like Harris and there is no comebacks as the writing is on the wall, except for the first spell in his first test he looked insipid.
cricketman Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 He did not grind it out all summer plus play all that Ranji trophy for nothing. Zak is in it for the long haul
Zanjeer Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Just saw his first two overs...absolutely nothing to offer..lol
saneindian Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Innocuous bowling so far, no reverse either. A wicket would be a nice boost though
Number Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Looks like he is injured. Feeling his hamstring.
King Tendulkar Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 1st test was great particularly 1st innings But yes seems to have staimna issues and more games and more overs the more innocous he becomes Maybe should be in squad as great reserve. Great to come in for injury or want 4 seamers. But back to back tests like this his body cant do it
shortbread Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 He looks tired!! Doesnt look like he can survive back to back tests!!

King Tendulkar Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 If he is in the squad' date=' he will play.[/quote'] Why? Is that a rule?
rkt.india Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Why? Is that a rule? that is what mostly happens in Indian team. Have you ever seen a senior sitting out even if he is not performing?
express bowling Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Why? Is that a rule? I have never seen a senior cricketer dropped from the Indian team if in the group of 16. Something to do with our culture ,maybe , of respecting elders. Not all decisions are strictly professional.

saneindian Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Looking like the weakest link right now. A wicket from him though will lift the whole bowling unit
