These English fans still keep harping about that series win in India. The thing is' date=' India has moved since then, and most of the passengers in that team are not playing any more. England will be blanked if they tour India now - and they don't even have Swann any more. You can expect to see Pujara triple tons if England come to India now. Jadeja, Ashwin and Ojha will have them in a spin too.[/quote'] We could have won the Mumbai test with Jaddu in the team.....series outcome could've been diff then. We'll blank them if they tour India ri8 now.....no team can beat us in a test series ri8 now at home. We'll beat SA,Aus,Eng at home, will sweep the later 2 & let's not talk abt the minnows in Pak,Lankans,NZ,WI & Bang.Mentioned Bang as they're better than WI & NZ in sc conditions right now.

Check for me. I recall a few 0-3 series from you guys down under.
1-1 draw in 2002-03,2-1 loss in 2007-08.....we could've won both of them with the rub of the green.Everyone knows abt the "Sydney cheat" through out the 5 days where they played with 13 players & did their best to cost us a match.

If ball swings, Anderson will also pose a lot of problems against us though he might not have pace of Steyn but he has a great inswinger. They wont be able to leave him that nonchalantly like they did to Steyn.

At work, so posting less. Is this 'could have won' rationale a tick you guys have? You didnt win. I could retire if I won the lottery - but 'could haves' dont matter.

Steyn was doing that too and clean bowled Pujara with such delivery. With Anderson is knowing which is inswing and which is outswing, they will have to watch his wrist and seam position closely to decipher that.

Weight loss adjustment issues' date=' I have always maintained that if inzamam was 10kg lighter he would not have half as many run outs as he did, therefore he would average 50 in odi and 60 in test making him the greatest batsman after bradman, every kilo he weighed less, add a run on to his average.[/quote'] So if he weighed 90 kilos less at 0, would his average be 130?

It's not going to be easy at all. Hope the team is given enough practice matches. As of now nothing is planned after IPL and before the Eng series. Hope it remains that way and the team can focus on the huge series. Put in a conditioning camp of 8-10 days, let the young team work together and arrive in England with proper preparation time. But in all probabaility what we will get is some tri series in WI or SL as a filler before the series.

Doesn't he hide it like Zaheer?

No. Not for conventional swing. Even Zaheer does it only for reverse swing. I was talking about conventional swing. Seam as well as wrist position will tell you which way the ball is going to swing.

Oh !! Thanks. BTW, why can't they just watch out for bowlers like Anderson's and Zaheer's wrist and seam position?

He would not be batting.
Why would'nt he be batting? He gains an extra run every time he loses weight, so at a weight of 1 just imagine how much his average would be.

I expect all Brits born here to support England whether their parents are from India' date=' Pakistan, the WI or elsewhere. I know most British Asians support their 'mother' lands, and that is unfortunate. None the less, I sincerely hope England are at least your alternate team after India/Pakistan/WI/x.[/quote'] Went to all icc champions trophy games supported India including the final dont expect too much my team shall always be India win or lose

Only 1 batsman from the modern era could bat on those pitches' date=' Inzamam no player since the creation of the colour television was as good against pace as Inzamam was.[/quote'] Cough Cough some one post average of Inzy in Australia England and South Africa

India has a good chance, England will be either too complacent to change and they will be average or they will learn from this Ashes series and rebuild. Still think England will win though unless India offloads Ishant and teaches Ashwin how to bowl overseas by making him watch Swann and Lyon, I think Ashwin has to learn from them.

If aussies travel tomorrow and play another 5 tests in england it will be england winning it handily. except SA none of the other teams are good enough to win they might compete but not win. Since Kallis is gone we have to see how it affects them also.He and Abdv make up for 4 players.

No Aussie will fight better and even win the series against current england team.Pace will be as effective in england as aus.Its not like they are going to india.

I dont think so, Johnson will be neutralized and Anderson and broad will rear into action big time and Aussie top order is as fragile as they come and Haddin will not be able to mask it.
