Priyanka's saying that she is Rajiv Gandhi's daughter gave some relief. At least there is one thing for which narendra modi can not be blamed!

Lol.. a person who puts sedition charges on journalists for not writing favorable articles is talking about press freedom :--D.
Posts the person who supports AAP which wants to jail the media.:giggle: If anything, the press freedom has gone down in the 10 years and major paid propaganda done against the opposition by Congress government.

Well, Khurshid would disagree. After all, Rajiv would be impotent in his dictionary for the 1984 riots.

That has been done, yes. But the kind of propaganda Modi has spread in this election is unprecedented in the history of Indian politics.

If you really think that the amount of media coverage he has got since May 2013 is because he is such a big leader then I think you are following some other election. No other leader in any Indian election so far has got the kind of coverage in the run up to the elections as Modi has got since May 2013 - ALL media channels have covered many of his rallies in FULL (by this I mean his speech in the rally) - you really think that all the major news channels would show 40-50 minutes of his speech (and that too when mostly his speeches in various rallies were more or less the same) again and again and again for free??? Local editions of newspapers have had 2 full pages dedicated to the coverage of his rallies when the rally is in that particular city (for ex when there was a rally in Lko/Agra/Bareilly/Kanpur etc the local editions of ALL papers had 2 full pages and usually half of the front page as well for the rally and even many days before the rally they had been giving half a page to show just the preparation going on. In contrast, when there was a SP/BSP rally then they merely got half a page of coverage). You think channels/newspapers did all this for so many months for free or because they felt some sense of patriotism/duty or maybe they all suddenly became BJP supporters in the last 11 months

Swapan Dasgupta ‏@swapan55 1h Just spoke to @AmitShahOffice. He is getting more and more gung-ho about Amethi. He smells things others don't.
This sudden excitement about Amethi looks fishy in BJP. Either they sense an upset or they are using it to push Cong back on snoopgate. Either way good for BJP.

You sound jealous more than anything. Yes, Modi has got a lot of coverage but yet again it was never fair and instead was biased towards Congress. It clearly seems you have very short memories. There are tons of examples in the last 12 months, like the false statement created by a news provider to demean Modi on the Uttarakhand flood. There are countless number of abuses he has received over the last year and our news debate taken over him on various channels have been pathetic and biased to say the least.
