EnterTheVoid Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Will do so when I get some free time. I am sitting in the airport lounge doing a bit of plane spotting :winky:
EnterTheVoid Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Wouldn't mind doing a bit of skiing over here:
EnterTheVoid Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 The effects of global warming. The whole god damn ice shelf is breaking off :((
Clarke Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 That's really stunning, thanks for sharing. I was looking up some South America tourist destinations and learned that there are tourist ships from southern Argentina to Antarctica. Its obviously not the usual cruise where u show up with the regular bag of clothes.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 I recommend you take the aerial route Clarke, the ice is extremely thick out there and there is a danger the ship could get stuck in the ice.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 1, 2014 Author Posted January 1, 2014 Its summer in Antarctica right now and there are a whole heap of expeditions at this time of the year. Thats how I managed to go there. Having Antarctica experts on the same flight is awesome. They make really good guides.
Detonator Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 woww!! amazing pics!! I want to go to antartica :whine:
hhunaeh Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 nice pics, you went on a plane and came back unlike that desi reporter on the russian ship trapped in ice. :two_thumbs_up:
