We need a much better bowling attack, consisting of good pacers with pace who can atleast trouble their players!

Yeah, cricket has been played there for a million years and UAE doesnt have a team which is half as good as Afghanistan. But then again, nobody wants to go to Afghanistan or Pakistan and even Bangladesh's situation is bad nowadays. That's probably the reason.

We just don't have the bowling attack for those kind of pitches. Dhoni will pick two regular spinners and also rely on dibbly-dobbly part-timers. You need couple of fast bowling all-rounders to have the right kind of batting and bowling depth in Australia. Binny is unproven, Pathan is out of favour and I don't see anyone else on the horizon. Again, too much dependence on batting. I wouldn't consider Ashwin and Jadeja all-rounders in Aussie conditions. One can't bowl and the other can't bat.
