Any jokers here still wanna drop Dhawan? Impulsive, reactionary thinking needs to calm down before dismissing potentially good players. It would help if people were able to differentiate between not being able score at a high strike rate in ODIs overseas and being a test batsmen capable of accumuting decent scores. It would also help if people bothered to consider the historic track record of indian opening batsmen overseas before dismissing the current duo as relative no hopers. People calling for Rohit to be immediately displaced from the test side after half a dozen test matches should also consider the above example.

Was lucky only once unlike Williamson. Since that drop from McCullum, he never gave them a chance again in both innings. This was a very fluent knock. Better than the gritty one in the last Test. His 98 set it up for us.

Sir's worth was shown in 2 back to back tests when his brain farts resulted in loses to games that could have been won/saved. I understand people rating Jadeja's bowling(which is above average-good category) or his Fielding(which is worldclass and he is probably one of the best in the world) but his batting is P*** poor....hurts me to say that evry time as saying that demeans Indian domestic cricket where this hack has 3 300's

This. Jadeja is a decent all-round cricketer, especially in the subcontinent, with his brilliant fielding and more than handy bowling but as a batsman he hasn't done much.

My point was about Jaddu being promoted to the middle order so he could show his worth at 4. He's very hit and miss and 8 is the right position for him. In fact Ashwin may actually be a much better bat at 4.

Big mistake persisting with Ishant and Rohit English team will be licking their lips waiting to feast on Ishant in the 5 test series,after this test. Ishant's good performance quota , once every 3 years is over after this test. Rohit , the less said the better it is. He will torment India for another 10 tests with low scores. Straight delivery should do the trick for him. Selectors,wake up and smell the coffee. Be wise and have a clear back up for Ishant and Rohit.

Team management should look after performance of some players like ie,Ishant Sharma,RohitSharma,M Vijay,R AshwinZaheer Khan.If we can select good players in their place,this team can become one of the best.

I watched Zak bowling today, he is coming back to rhythm..Bowling slight variations, immaculate line and troubling batsmen..I think he has still something to give back.
