Jadeja should not bat higher than 8. Binny could play at 7. Rohit should get more chances as well as he has done well in ODIs recently as an opener.

I don't know what she has done to turbo-charge Kohli but she should be immediately put on BCCI's payroll. - I have watched International Cricket for 25 years and Jadeja is absolutely the worst number 7 batsman I have ever seen. He makes Ajit Agarkar look like a proper batsman. My gosh, how did this nincompoop score three triple centuries in domestic cricket. This guy doesn't look capable of scoring 10 runs at U14 level. - I welcome the brickbats but Harbhajan offered twice the utility that Jadeja and Ashwin combined offer. He didn't give up easy runs when he wasn't picking wickets, was a gutsy lower order batsman, a good outfielder, and had a fantastic team spirit to boot. - Selectors should never pick anyone with last name Sharma to make up for the sins of their forefathers Ishant and Rohit. Ishant is simply a hopeless case and Rohit Sharma has been deteriorating so rapidly ever since Steyn worked him over in first ODI in RSA. Showed absoutely no respect for match conditions, hogged the strike, beaten countless times, kept the strike away from red-hot Dhawan, and foolishly gave his wicket away. - Somebody should arrange a Sadhu-Mahatma so we can get rid of Dhoni's Win Toss Field First chutiypa. India's batting is always under incredible pressure because of limp bowling. - Enough wrist slitting. A slow start is excusable as long as we dont lose wickets. Even a run rate around 4 or 4.5 for the first 10 to 15 overs without losing a wicket is a good start as they can make up for it later on.

Good one...lol...Batting was our strength, never seen such a weak Indian battling line up since ages. We need Gambhir, Pujara, Harbhajan, Pathan immediately in our line up.
Forever Indian Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Look I understand what ur saying but in New Zealand u don't really pick wickets with short of length it's more like england tbh and you have to bowl full to get swing Problem with Bhutan is he has been on shorter side even in India and was short even in tests he played so it's more to do with what he wants and I think he will be better off bowling little full and get edges and lbw like before Agree with Sabby. As Bhuvi is bowling a little short than what he used to before the batsmen are able to adjust to his swing by playing on backfoot or from the crease. Like before if he draws the batsman forward he will start getting more wickets. Think it's just time before he learns that. I somehow feel the Bowling coach is not doing a good job with our bowlers. They seem to repeat the same mistakes, and if they get good guidance I am sure guys like Bhuvi will improve. (PS. I am not talking of Ishant here, he is a goner long time ago)

LOL Moving it early on at decent pace and those consistent yorkers. Improves immensely ! @OP He somehow manages to end up with good economy rate at the of his spell and it usually goes unnoticed until the game is over. You see him getting hammered in 1 or 2 overs and presume he has been going over 5-6 RPO but ends up with eco. rate around 3-4. LOL
