Should Kedar Jadhav be picked in the limited overs sides? [UPDATED 3 YEARS LATER]

Kedar-Jadhav-Maharashtra-Ranji-Trophy.jpg India's middle order batsmen have been struggling as of late, especially Yuvraj and Raina, both who used to be integral components of our limited overs sides but have been found out with the short ball and are now failing more often than not. Could it be the right time to try out someone like Kedar Jadhav? Here's a guy who has batted most of his domestic career at No. 4 or 5, has been the top scorer in the Ranji season so far, scoring 1074 runs at 89.50 and a strike rate of 79.91 and has a List A record of 1738 runs in 43 innings at an average of 51.11 and a strike rate of 106.36. Has been in great form as of late and has caught the selectors' eye, being included in the 30-man probables for the ICC T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.

He has scored heavily in List A but that's in Indian conditions and we cant be sure if he will do well on pitches where there is more bounce and pace. Has he played any A tours and how did he do there ? Other batsmen who have done well in List A are Ishank Jaggi and Pujara.

Going by how Dhoni and selectors selection process is, he doesn't have a shot unless we are forced to make drastic changes due to poor performances. MS has made it clear anyone who has a shot at World cup needs 60-70 ODI's under his belt. Those stats do warrant a consistent run with A-team though.
