Most look like they might break down before they reach the crease while others look like they're performing classical dance. Mohammed Shami and Vinay Kumar just look horrible, the run-up seemingly detached from the end product. Bhuvneeshwar and Sreesanth have some bharatnatyam thing going on, as does Aswhin. The best run-ups we have ever had are those of Zaheer and Yadav. Can we have some athletes please!

Still, shami got 2 chances at the end with 1 being a wicket and 1 being a dropped catch. Happens. Next odi, pacers hv to be consistent. Also pacers need to bowl first 10-15 overs, then some spin w/ 1 pacer at an end, then change to the next spinner with another pacer. Basically: Aaron and shami should have overs for the death, bhuvi and aaron in the early-mid overs with spin and bhuvi/shami opening 6-7 overs

Dhoni makes some weird bowling changes.Jaddu comes in to bowl 12th over.Ashwin comes in to bowl 13th over.Two new balls are used so actually the spinner gets just 6 overs old ball to start their spell.Add the fact that these are New Zealand wickets where spinners will not get purchase. It's really weird that spinners bowl with 6 over old bowl over here. It's shocking captaincy really.How are the spinners going to have good bowling stats if this happens.

I consider this one day series as a warm up for Test sereis. India does not have 8 players that won the world cup. We have lost lot of players over the years. So performance is going to be bit up and down. Players lose form, balance gets affected. bowlers lose form, It is all part of international cricket. As long as these bozos find form for big tournaments i am fine. Anyone who under-estimates NZ in NZ need their head examined. They have dominated us india in NZ most of the time except last tour where India had array of dazzling players. it is stupid to compare a team that had (Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhoni, Yuvraj, inform Raina, ) to this noob team . NZ have found some insane hitters . You have to factor in. I remember NZ absolutely knocked the living daylights out of Australia in NZ when Australia was no.1 side in the world. THey are awesome unit at home. When they toured INdia they also got whitewashed. My worriy is not that. My worry is how Dhoni doesn't look frustrated when his bowlers regularly concede 290 plus. He considers as if it is a norm to concede 290 plus rather than an exception. THat is what disturbing. You do something on the field, talk to bowlers work out strategy, try to slow things down, do whatever you can to make it tough for opposition. He has to talk more to bowlers when they are losing their way. "Calm cool collected head" is not needed. If anything you have to be a bit hot-headed when your bowler is serving filth. Bloody this is international cricket not street cricket.

NZ Commies pointed out that he's stubborn and will continue until he proves everyone wrong. Disgusting tbh. Contrast to the CB series 2008, his pacers won him games and he actually used them there. Pacers also helped defend t20 2007 totals. But now, he doesn't understand how to use them. Kohli was much better at using his resources

This is stupid captaincy really. Our openers do not even get early wickets regularly and then spinners have to bowl on unfriendly tracks against well set batsmen too. So they are trying to contain (which is why they have given less than 5rpo) but then wickets dry up, and we are finished at the death.

And if something doesn't work, the captain needs to help the bowler to go to backup. The only bowler Dhoni wanted to talk to was Ashwin, whenever he got hit for a six.

Imagine Aaron is the tallest of the three who himself is around 5'11".
