putrevus
Nohit cannot work for singles because his onside game is shambles but he should be played over rayudu but at no 6 Link to comment
Zestian
What NOHIT does is he brings himself into a situation from where he had to hit boundaries and make up far that very-very slow run rate ( - Originally said by Arul Lal) ... And in this process he tends to 1. get out after blocking many balls and pressurizing the remaining batsman to score quickly...:whack::wall: 2. And when he recovers from that situation, even then his strike rates goes above 95 in every 7 matches... AND THAT TO ONLY IN INDIA:lollypop::facepalm: If the pitch is not a patta he struggles like he is batting for the first time in his life... Ex . - In SA, Aus etc...:mama::idunno: It really takes a big heart for Dhawan to open with him..:isalute::bow:. The Start that Viru:woot: and Gauti used to give us was just amazing... Viru is out of form for a long so its okay to set him apart(for the time being), but gauti is a big tournament player he never gives up so easily... :two_thumbs_up::hatsoff::cheer: I would really wish that Viru and Gauti comes back to there places and tear apart the opposition.. G_B_
Enough of Viru and Gauti they are done. They are probably the second best opening pair after Sachin-Ganguly combo. Have to say after nearly a decade of awesome opening combos India have probably hit rock bottom when it comes to openers this millenium Link to comment
putrevus
What this bugger nohit is doing in name of getting in is not giving strike back to Dhawan or Kohli. That totally stops the momentum of the innings. Link to comment
adi B
enough of nohit.either u slot him down at #6 and play pujara as an opener by replacing rayudu or simply drop him for pujara but knowing our team thinking nohit wont be dropped against pak and we'll field the same 11 Link to comment
adi B
if u cant drop nohit at least tell him to slog madly, similar to what he did vs nzl in the 3rd odi Link to comment

ThePhenomenal1
dhawan is a great opener for us, the guy scored 94 and has scored runs in nz. rohit sharma is CRAP! we have a year to try combos. dhawan-rohit 100+ partnerships had dhawan doing the most with rohit usually getting a 50 or less and getting out. Need to try pujara Link to comment
Marut
Any Indian batsman who does not average 35 and has a strike rate less than 80 after 15 chances must be benched and be given another chance only after all potential replacements have been tried. Rohit has failed to meet these criteria after 120 chances - any batsman with strike rate less than 85 for Rohit's experience should not be guaranteed a place in an Indian lineup. Especially while playing outside India. Link to comment

Crookbond
If Pujara opens the batting in place of Rohit, who will be 3-4-5-6 ? Kohli-Dhoni are the only two sure names. Personally, I would prefer Rohit opening and Pujara at 3. Link to comment
Haarkarjeetgaye
oh may be sucking something keeps him in the team..saara talent aur class wahin hai.. Link to comment
Soorma_Bhopali
Get Pujara as opener and revert Nohit to no.5 position.if he fails there again for 3-4 matches, drop him altogether from the squad just like raina Link to comment

ThePhenomenal1
why in the hell would you want to remove kohli from 3? he is making history there Link to comment
devla
I've seen him live and he is lazy. That's his make up. No energy. He will dive and save a few when needed but otherwise be lost in the field. This shows in his batting too - scores runs when he can play strokes but incapable of grafting runs, of being energetic. He probably doesn't even wake up excited that he is f@$&ing playing for India. He will be worse than Kambli when he is done and dusted. Link to comment
